45 days and 2 weeks leeway? You sure? Which I heard 35 days in one presentation and then he increased it to 40 in a more recent one. I don't recall any mention of 2 weeks leeway in either.

I got this marked for $2.20 (£1.28) target next week now after Canada looking like breaking out....

Nerves more fractured at present corpse as we are at a fairly critical stage regarding future cash flow and really urgently need COHO tied in and news from NGC regarding contract for this rest of the gas and timescales to tie in Casca/Chinook. Once these 2 things are in the bag I won't be anywhere near as twitchy with future drills in the programme.

Whilst it was definitely interesting to read Xavier's clearly very knowledgeable posts it has also left me feeling a little nervous as it is an unusual thing to happen at any time, let alone when we are all on tenterhooks waiting for imminent news. Wonder what motivated him to register and start posting right now - but that is probably something he's not at liberty to disclose. Think I might just switch off the boards for a fortnight. As if I will be able to not peek in lol!

Not sure if I'm more twitchy about Chinook or the NGC deal. Really need to get the NGC deal nailed and COHO on stream. Both seem to be taking longer than originally thought. Obvious that cash flow from COHO is critical in near term future for cash flow. Is it possible Trinidad govt, knowing this, is playing hard ball with NGC deal knowing that TXP is currently burying a lot of money deep underground?

Sounds like someone chucked 250k shares out for sale in Canada at $1.39. Killed any further rise for today perhaps but it's certainly getting towards the business end here.

Pressure building up here. Don't mentally spend money before it's in the bank guys - I've come a cropper like that a couple of times with some 'dead certs'!

Yeah he's already previously said the NGC deal is a billion dollar plus deal. Very tight lipped on Chinook so couldn't really read anything into him at all there.

Regarding NGC contract I think Paul just dropped a hint that as it's a world class discovery so we can expect world class prices for the gas for the feedstock to the petrochemical industry.

I'll be watching. TXP are 3rd on at 18:55.

I've felt sure for weeks that someone is patiently mopping up all sells at 70p ish. They still want 70.9p for me to buy any right now. I've got some more funds ready to put in here. Am torn between doing so now or waiting for a dip on the (unlikely imo) chance that Chinook doesn't come up trumps.

Those 100 sells in Canada are getting a bit silly today. There must be some reasoning behind it all as it certainly looks a bit odd.

Nat gas looking very strong recently . Now $2.78. 70% or so higher than recent lows. This wall of cash is growing hugely but the market seems to be missing that fact.

Of course news on NGC would have to be rns'd prior to talking about it worraps yes. I was imagining an rns on it next tue/wed before podcast. We'll see. Yes I'm also pretty overinvested here and find times like this a little trying too. Hopefully patience will pay off.

600k+ of sells yet the price doesn't budge? Becoming increasingly hard to reject the idea that there is a big buyer accumulating anything anyone wants to sell at 70p. Looking good.

Thanks Dana yes that's what I thought. If there is a 4 week closed period then it looks like them getting some more pre Chinook. Also suggests we might not get news on NGC contract until after Chinook?

Not sure Dana. I was wondering the opposite if it perhaps meant no imminent news. Are there closed periods prior to news for exercising options the same as for buying shares on the open market or not?

That's your opinion and of course it's valid sturm but I'm not so sure I agree with it. I certainly don't think it's anywhere near priced in for hitting a possible monster at Chinook. There's some good analysis on hydrablog suggesting the current finds at Cascadura are not even priced in. Plus there is the NGC contract could be announced anytime and may surprise to the upside given strength in current gas prices. It seems most longer term holders are happy to sit on their hands here having considered the risks as there has hardly been a wall of selling. It was actually a better price to sell than to buy earlier today so I think the shares are being mopped up by someone.
