RE: Main Market IPO/RTO £30M Minimum6 Feb 2026 12:46
Right now it’s basically a tiny AIM shell, but that’s exactly how a lot of big movers start. First you usually get speculation that somethings happening. Volume creeps in, price starts waking up. Then if they announce a potential acquisition or reverse takeover target, the market stops looking at it as an empty shell and starts pricing in the new story.
At that point it’s not about current fundamentals, it’s about the narrative. If the incoming business is in a hot space like tech, energy, decent resource asset etc and management look credible, Shells sitting at tiny valuations like COR now around £500k can rerate quickly if a solid new business comes in. If the market buys the new direction and growth story, it’s not unusual to see a move from a few hundred grand valuation into the £10m £30m range just on sentiment and the new narrative.
People focus too much on the big share count, but AIM runs on demand, sentiment and momentum. If buyers outweigh sellers and the story catches, price can move multiples regardless. We’ve seen that loads of times before. Most of the move usually happens on anticipation, not after everything is fully confirmed.
Obviously high risk and can go wrong, but if they pull off the right deal, then all us, Paul Forrest and crew will be happy bunnies 🤞
