Just had a morning coffee with a friend of mine who is an ex trader for a well known hedge fund.

He said it is simple manipulation of the SP to make it go up so that it stays in the 250. Nothing to do with MM or THG bid. Just hedge funds want it in the 250 so that its momentum can help them short it on bad market days. Out of the 250 it is more exposed and volatile and open to PI or other vicarious reasons for price movements .You know what your gonna get in the 250 to a point. So he said guaranteed day after they calculate if THG is still in they will hammer it down again once its had its morning false 3-5% pop north. Just like last time when it was entering the 250. So buy buy now, maybe sell 9am tomorrow at 30p ish

This share is wholly manipulated either way but mostly down to benefit the wealthy invested either way.

Last time he took a Big chunk it did more than 100% then all he does to maintain the north trend is make sure the company performs going forward.

I think most of us are questioning our intelligence and how we value a business. But I think we have to give ourselves some slack.

If this was 500p then yes recent revenue and GO declines would make this overvalued and a short target but at this market cap it’s pure stupid.

It’s like a trend / fashion now to short it.

All I hope is trends and fashions die out . I think Matt needs to go then the trend will change. He can buy more but he steps down.

He needs to buy more shares then to get the price up, otherwise he is going to have buyer demanding to be on the board , he will have hostile take overs etc . He needs to buy more to increase the share price to stop the rot and to ward off approaches.

I agree, gym shark do a good enough job of this and MP will not sell over this brand. The best thing to do is collaborate with an already existing good sports clothing brand like Gymshark. For example money off vouchers on Gymshark clothing when MP is purchased. Or vice versa. Or even clothing bundles with protein powders.

I’m a gym goer and would never wear my protein branded gym attire. Vanity project as you say.
