Deos, I have some at 62p, 54p and 47p, so yes hoping for a decent recovery to the 60s pretty soon. If we get get news on the Covid treatment trial or indeed some vaccine news then this will shoot up. Imho

In my portfolio I have a decent holding of a UK Covid play stock that will release their results at the end of July at some point. I am edging on the confident side that this will be big news and therefore I am heavily investing in Marstons as it has dropped so much. Also looking at first group, but might leave that till Monday’s played out. Again this is me being speculative and a bit of a gamble , but dyor and make your own mind up, but if this plays out like I expect, some bags to be made.

Thanks for the info. When would have been the ex dividend date if it was to happen? Looking at last years date it would have been about the 18th July. So would you say it’s not worth the gamble in case? Could be a good % of current sp? Appreciate your thoughts

Two reports charting coronavirus cases in England show the number of people in the community with the disease is falling.
The Office for National Statistics estimates one in 3,900 people have Covid - 0.03% of the population, down from one in 2,200 the previous week.

So my thoughts are having been a retail operations manager in the past is that staff need at least 4 weeks rota in advance. The company’s will need a week or less to plan their rota. They will then use the interim period to prepare and order in beer and food etc and make any hygiene preparations. So my bet is that if others follow Young’s suit or very close then we should be expecting an update any time soon. The blueprint for Pubs opening must be happening. Imho
