Hi, Likewise I made myself known to Daniel Steward and requested to be kept informed of any developments but I guess they won't reveal more than the official statements made by YGH. I can't really understand how the illegal actions of certain customers can affect the company unless they were involved - let's hope it's just a question of the investigation clearing the company of any links to the actions. The previous history of the company will always make it a suspect in such matters. Just hope it doesn't drag on for years!! I did make contact with YGH in HK and they replied with apologies advising me to contact the advisor in UK. Keep in touch.

Well, as I feared, not good news : Statement re Suspension Further to its announcement of 8 February 2012, the Company reports that it is under investigation by the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department and the customs authorities in China. The Company believes that this is as a result of suspected violations of import and export regulations by certain customers of the Company, but no details have been given by the investigating authorities. The effect of the investigation is likely to have an adverse effect on trading in the current year. A further update will be given to the market in due course. Pleased to say have just had a message from Yinggao Hong Kong apologising for the delay and saying there will be an announcement and full explanation before close of business today.

I wish Chev! This stock has a past, as you may know? I'm hoping for good news but I have some fears in the background. I thought something would have been issued today but it doesn't look like it now. I was given a quick brush off when I phoned the ADVISORS so they are not prepared to say anything and they must know something. But silence is this company's preference so we will have to go along with it. Let's hope tomorrow brings something good.

I don't think they would take that action for sale of mining. There are so many possibilities - we can only wait and see. I would think it will be tomorrow before we hear anything. Just hope!

Spoke to advisers but they don't know anything yet. Have to wait for next co's announcement.

This has been a good week and well over due. Hope we see stronger growth this year reflecting the true value of this company. I am also wondering about the quarry potential. Internal China trade is booming and this can only benefit Yinggao with their control of the lucrative river trade. Good luck to us few shareholders for the New Year

Looking at the statement I don't think the results are as bad as you say although the open has not been good. Think this is something of an over-reaction.

Anyone gone long on this one today after the tentative agreement on pensions etc? Could this be a good sign for the crew dispute?

Hi mate. All OK. I don't have any thoughts on this week. Talk of downturn in China today but that changes everyday. Can only try trawling Google for any news items or links to Yinggao but wouldn't be too hopeful as they don't say much. Interesting info on their logistics ops in the river are online if you search HK - Huangpu shipping movements etc. I find generally that most trades go thru on PLUS market not LSE. HSDL use PLUS always. Always hopeful but it is a long term investment. Good luck.
