Markets are broken and the good is being dragged down with the crap. People do not realise the difference between essential and non essential. YU provide an essential service, clothes, software, mobiles, holidays are all non essential and first to go by consumers.

Also high energy prices is boosting YUs turnover significantly, core business costs remain the same yet turnover soaring.

No debt is another massive bonus

Down 95% of trading days since trading update, did I miss the cash call, fund raising, debt problems, falling revenue, massive loss ?

Because I didn’t read any of that

Indeed locked away for the long term, not much I would invest in outside essential service stocks, like utilities.

No doubt about it a fight is raging at this level, a few sells and they dragged it down and the buyers come in aggressively. Interesting to see how this pans out as only 5 weeks to H1.

And the cash position, record turnover, higher margins = higher profit all come out

Liquidity, free float is small works in a positive and negative way.

Nothing specific to YU but highlighting the qualities of utilities in high inflation and recession environments. Been saying it for ages, the Mail focus on the big FTSE companies but the fact the market is waking up to the fact utilities are a must during times like this.

Is out, same rubbish they have been saying for years, balance sheet broke, no mention of cash position, burned though 4m in cash last year so how did they make the mythical 4m profit blah, blah blah. Oh yes massive red flags and sell as down from 300p

Not the fact the sector is out of favour, markets are grim, energy sector is getting massive bad press,

Oh yes and all the positive update at the trading statement is rubbish as no facts and figures on cash, turnover and profit

Your getting boring and predictable now *************, same **** every time and guess what 4 years and 47 articles constantly saying YU need an emergency fund raising we are up 400% and no fund raising.

Interesting trading the last few sessions looks to me something is being worked at the 190 to 200p level. Maybe a new II has been hoovering up the LTIP sale and the other sells. Because again today looks like all sells yet we have moved up, has the accumulator finished ?

The market hates the statement. Looks like with are heading into the under 200p range and based on sharenicleynow numbers which I do not disagree with the forward PE is going to be a joke.
