A little over 5 months since the DFS was released, perhaps the DFC are swamped or things just move at a snails pace (like most government departments). Who knows what a 'review' entails.....a fair bit to digest and maybe it needs to pass across more than one desk. I don't think BRES are scratching around for funds at the moment.
This is from the Annual Financial Report in January (perhaps the DFC are still reviewing the DFS results?) -
The US$5.0 million grant from the US International Development Finance Corporation ("DFC") has provided US$4.75 million to date, which has been used alongside other funds raised by Blencowe to complete the DFS and Stage 7 drilling programme. The remaining US$0.25 million is expected to be paid following review of the DFS results by the DFC.
Triessence will fund 50% of capital costs for the SPG facility and will purchase all end product, ensuring consistent revenue and premium pricing for some of the first 99.95% SPG produced ex-China.
RNS 05/09/2024 - Blencowe Resources has signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Singaporean graphite sales and marketing specialist Triessence Limited ("Triessence") and a leading Asian SPG and Anode material producer ("SPG Partner"). This partnership aims to establish Joint Venture (JV) for a graphite beneficiation facility in Uganda producing 99.95% purified graphite. With this JV, Blencowe's has strategically aligned with two highly experienced Asian graphite specialists to ensure successful delivery.
"We have now dropped 35% since February as a result of financing slipping out of Q1" - most of that is as a result of the war IMO, you seem to be suggesting it's all down to delays and warrants.....not saying the delays or warrants have helped of course. I imagine our CEO is hammer and tongs getting things sorted that's probably why it's gone quiet.....one of these mornings the mother of all RNS's will drop.
Not sure anyone knows for sure what's holding the SP back, we all have opinions, mine is that the market is wrong and I am right.....the market just needs to realise that it's wrong, then the SP will fly.
I think we can all agree the silence has definitely bucked the trend (both in terms of RNS and X).....and I'm not convinced it's anything to do with the war.
I'd love to know what's going on, this Friday will be a month since first Beehive results were released with a note to say more expected in quick succession.
Pj70 - I agree, it was just to flag up that there had been an X post (activity) after a seemingly long spell of nothing, a bit disappointing really, so much for the further Beehive results 'in quick succession'.
