Badland, I have been with RR since mid April 21 so similar to you in that respect. The govt is clearly finding it difficult to govern at the moment and all we can do is hope that they grow up quickly. It's much easier to sling mud than catch it! If they don't get on the ride then they are letting the whole country down in the short and long term, let's just pray for the British public the govt understand that.
Back to investing in RR it has been amazing but now frustrating. I am not a seasoned investor hence my watching this chat group and reading elsewhere. I cannot imagine for one moment Tufan is wrong in his strategic direction, that all the analysts are wrong, that RR SMR are not going to find partners all over Europe, that global flight demand is going to collapse, that RR engine development is not going to continue at pace and that the propulsion and power generation markets are going to collapse. Defence looks like a growth market. RR SMR being adopted, with another, by the UK govt would be great for everyone concerned but RR is going places in any event.
I'll stick currently as I think we have a winning hand.
