Don't worry, you're not the only one who misses the troughs. I held off buying early last week on I think a 10p fall thinking I would buy nearer the end of the day when the USA run scared. Came back after my ride to find it had recovered to pretty much flat. 🤦🏻 Ho hum.

Others advice is just that, be your own advisor it's your money!

Badland, I have been with RR since mid April 21 so similar to you in that respect. The govt is clearly finding it difficult to govern at the moment and all we can do is hope that they grow up quickly. It's much easier to sling mud than catch it! If they don't get on the ride then they are letting the whole country down in the short and long term, let's just pray for the British public the govt understand that.

Back to investing in RR it has been amazing but now frustrating. I am not a seasoned investor hence my watching this chat group and reading elsewhere. I cannot imagine for one moment Tufan is wrong in his strategic direction, that all the analysts are wrong, that RR SMR are not going to find partners all over Europe, that global flight demand is going to collapse, that RR engine development is not going to continue at pace and that the propulsion and power generation markets are going to collapse. Defence looks like a growth market. RR SMR being adopted, with another, by the UK govt would be great for everyone concerned but RR is going places in any event.

I'll stick currently as I think we have a winning hand.

What if our admittedly poor government publicly showed support for the RR SMR above the other competitors before the end of the current process? Then all the other 3 competitors litigated and stalled the entire process whilst it trundled ever more slowly through the courts of litigators choice.

What would that do to the sp?

Can we just not let the process roll to its conclusion? Our CEO is putting his pressure on the govt and after watching his interview on Bloomberg he, in my humble opinion, knows what he is doing.

That being said it's refreshing to see debate on topic.

I joined this chat group to read chit chat, hard information and links relating to RR. I am old enough to remember several past Labour governments as well as past Conservative too. I know how both have performed or frequently not!

Please could we stop posting election related bo*****s? It is what it is so let's all focus on RR and how the jewel in the UK's engineering crown is performing going forward.
