MarketWatch shows that aftermarket drop. It also showed a similar drop yesterday morning but RR shares rose yesterday. No change in news or fundamentals therefore I think there must be a system glitch.

They are friendly Spaniels with good taste in engineering companies.

Tail wagging, tongue out and eyes wide and bright whilst grrrrrrrrrrrr means a positive happy Spaniel.

Tail down, hackles up, eyes narrowed and teeth showing means a negative upset Spaniel.

Today and through to half year results it'll be the waggy tail version, slow and steady onwards and upwards.

I've managed to hang in there luckily but it has been a tricky ride. I've been leaning on comments from NTC, Sven and Cev in the main but lately Dustyslay. Thanks to them for holding my head above water when big dips raised uncertainty in the spaniels heads.

I completely agree Svend. There is a great deal of business development in the pipeline including the elusive SMR approval. Nothing is going to be mentioned by anyone in government about that until the announcement day arrives, whenever that is. Too many issues in the mix to be certain but I remain focused on RR SMR being allocated 60% of the contracts. Whilst I don't trust any politicians I simply cannot believe any government would commit such an act of national self harm going forwards. In terms of energy self resilience, exporting knowledge skills and experience, exporting infrastructure and tax take from employment and business growth.

I have been wrong before though! 🫣

The dogs have offered me a flight in a Spitfire from Compton Abbas Airfield if the SP keeps steadily rising over time. The twin seater Spitfires fly over my house on flights to the Dorset coast in the summer. The Merlin engine makes a fantastic noise and the aircraft is simply beautiful! 🤞🏻
