Hi Selecta, I knew someone was going to ask that question. The reason the two figures sometimes are different is because quite simply, the price the SP closes at, at the end of the month does not necessarily mean it opened up the following day at the same price.

Well what a 2020 it has been. Thirteen consecutive months of gain upon gain, culminating with the biggest rise per month in GGP's history, of 9.6p since the start of December.
All the chat about OOoooo we dropped 3.2% yesterday just makes me laugh.
I have posted this chart every month this year, and as long as I keep looking at this chart as opposed to the month high chart, then it just makes me feel more & more comfortable of where we will be heading throughout 2021.
Even I was saying at the end of November that we would do well to put on 10% (2.7p) this month, just because as the price rises it's much more difficult to keep adding percentage growth month on month. But the rise this month has even shocked me.
Onward's and Upward's as they say throughout 2021 will see a hell of a lot more of this board becoming Gratlandaires.

I absolutely love Christmas Day. All that excitement & anticipation building up inside you, wondering what great present’s were awaiting to be unwrapped downstairs.
Ripping the wrapping paper off your prezies faster than Homer Simpson emptying a fridge full of his favourite food.
Well come January, I’ll have that same feeling all over again. Waiting for the day Scallywag RNS drops, with butterflies in my stomach just hoping my wishes have come true.

The point I was trying to make is, that as long as you are in GGP at a price under what the price the new rainbow company is, then it’s a no brainier to keep your money in GGP.
As for newbies who are considering investing, then YES they can invest into whatever takes their fancy. But say you invested in GGP at say 15p, you would be doubling your money at 30p as opposed to 34p with Wishbone.
Not to mention that GGP is much much further down the line, than all the nearology wannabee’s.
I’ll even go as far as to say, even if Artemis return fantastic results from their assays, they will be a minimum of 10 years away from mining.
You only need to look at Solgold for proof of that. Even though they have two brilliant discoveries, when will they get the stuff out the ground.

I see a lot of posters come here saying buy this & buy that because they are the next big thing.
But before you go chasing these potential rainbows, just stop & think.
Take Wishbone for instance.
If I was to buy into Wishbone today it would cost me 18p.
Just to make a 1 bagger, the price would have to get to 36p.
So why would I want to come out of GGP just to try and make a 1 bagger, when for every 2p rise in GGP I make another bag.
So as long as you have bought shares in GGP at under 18p then it’s a no brainier to stop where you are.
Whatever your strategy is, all the best to you.
Let’s just hope for as good a 2021 as we have had in 2020.

Greg, do yourself a favour and read down to the bottom of the report that you used to try and justify your pathetic stance on what ggp are valued at.

Following the updates, Greatland Gold shares remained largely subdued, sitting at 32.50p 15/12/20 13:45 GMT. The company currently has a consensus Buy rating from analysts, while the Marketbeat community offers a 50.79% ‘Outperform’ stance on the stock.

The valuation of a companies shares is not only valued on the asset. It is also valued on shareholder sentiment and potential value of were it may be in coming week's, month's and year's.

Now can you please return to doing what you know best.

Just last week you wrote
"My Calculation would go like this:-
4.2 MOZ x £100oz (buried gold price) = £420 million. We will have 30% of this so £126 million.
Current market cap is £1133 million at 29p per share. £126 million is 11.12% of £1133 million.
11.12% of 29p is 3.23p per share.
Then perhaps double it to cover drilling in progress 2 x 3.23p so now 6.46p per share. (It is just the initial maiden recourse estimate)
Plus add another 3.23p for potential of other sites so 9.69p per share.
So from those figures I get just under 10p per share."
