I truly believe that when the GDXJ originally bought into GGP, the MM's did not have enough shares, and that they forward sold the remaining shares to fulfill the order. Once the Market opened on the Monday, they did their best to panic shareholder's and dropped the SP right the way back to 17.5p ish, collecting shares in the process so as to re-balance their book. Once the re-balance was achieved they then got back to normal trading, and the SP recovered and held 22p for a couple of weeks, which was about the price we were trading at before the UT @ 27p.
The MM's have all sort's of tactic's up their sleeve to confuse the average shareholder.
Personally my gut feeling is the UT price @ COP on Friday could be 38-41p, but hand on heart I've no Fu-Kin idea.

Hey Mickey can we stop with the term ggp express please. The last time I was invested in a share where trains leaving the station & Choo Choo was mentioned far too frequently was UKOG and that derailed BIG TIME.

I'm not too concerned about wether Scally is a hit or not. If it is then that will be one helluva Brucie Bonus, but Havieron is the one that will continue to give fantastic return's in the not to distant future.

Greatland Gold is my current big win for my clients. This is one of the top new discoveries of the last 10 years. JV partner – Newcrest Mining, just announced a maiden resource of 4.2 million ounces of gold equivalent. The deposit is wide open so as Newcrest continues to drill it while they soon start driving an underground decline, I am certain the deposit will get a lot bigger. Newcrest should take them over but if Newcrest feels the takeover would be to expensive, the worst case scenario is that Newcrest starts mining this very profitable deposit and doesn’t takeover GGP, then Newcrest will have to share 25% of the profit from the mining operation meaning GGP turns into a very profitable miner and would be re-rated accordingly.

I’d hold for the final outcome. I have my clients owning 83,000,000 shares.

It beggars belief just how thick some who post here actually are.
All this ballcoqs about “Just wait until 2-30 when the yanks arrive” is just laughable.
GGP are listed on the London Stock Exchange not on any US market. So the Yanks have the exact same trading hours as everyone else.
Just because they are 5 hours behind us doesn’t mean the market is 5 hours behind.

Djingle, I feel your pain buddy. Exact same situation as myself, but I decided to call it a day once once this reached 8p.
Second best decision I ever made after investing here.

ISA all day long mate. no taxes to pay at all.
Problem with SIPP's is that if you are fortunate to reach the LTA (Life Time Allowance) Goverment get to charge you upto 55% tax on anything above LTA.
Just this year alone I have gone from £135k in my SIPP to as of friday at 4-30pm £1.3m
Still not selling a share yet, but at some point in the future i'm gonna have one hell of a tax bill. But a nice problem to have I suppose.

It is my top stock holding for my clients right now.
The most exciting thing in the mining industry is if a little exploration company makes a brand new good quality gold discovery and then keeps moving the drill over growing it in to a big deposit and then a big mining company comes along and takes them over.

Their discovery attracted Newcrest Mining as a jv partner with deep pockets to develop it in to a mine. My resounding bet is that Newcrest will take over GGP at some point before it’s a mine and they have to share the profit. Hold until then.
