Just the same pattern repeating itself over & over.
Drop a few chunky sells in at the start of the day, then buy them back again, once the price drops and just rinse & repeat as many times as you like.
That is the strategy being played out here by the ones accumulating at Pi’s expense.

Once they have accumulated what they want, you just watch what happens to the SP.

To those Pi’s who can’t see the wood for the trees and capitulate, you’ll just be left with that awful feeling that many have experienced of “If only I’d not sold”.

This is BIG, don’t fall for their bully boy tactics, it is all designed to part you from your golden tickets whilst they gladly stuff as many into their deep pockets as they can. Blackrock being a prime example. Suddenly increasing their holding by a further 41 million shares.
Now I wonder where they could of got those from ?

If you are of a nervous disposition and can’t stand watching the shenanigans going on each day, then literally just put them to the back of the drawer for two years and spend your time doing something else.

For me, I just watch and learn, spotting the signs and new tactics that the Big Boys use against us we minions. Because that is how they view us, plenty in number and Thick as.
Well not this minion, I’m here to stay. I ain’t aiding & abetting your plans by selling, not a chance.

I only say it as I see it. Many many others have differing views, but when I see (I’ve lost count) 22 out of 22 fantastic results after one another, that’s another way of seeing all the ducks in a row.

Doggy imo SB or NCM are not behind this.
Do I think an offer for the company will happen ?
YES but not for another 5 years.
They almost said as much in their last presentation.
They basically stated that they had to build up the coffers in their account again before they could even consider any more M & A’s, and with the pressure from their own shareholders regarding only paying the minimum allowable dividend out, I just can’t see anything on the horizon near term.
They seem quite happy for the time being with their other 70/30 JV’s, so why should they be any different with us.
Again imo they will only make an offer for our last 25-30% once they know far more than they do now.
Too many conspiracy theories have been banded about here for far to long.
Folk need to take a step back and look at it again, not wearing the Rose tinted specs would be a start.
Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither will be Havieron.
2 years from now, well that’s another story.

Chrisatbirdies the problem I see here is that far too many investors here have absolutely no patience. All they see is the high’s of 38p and want that again now.
It’s going to be another 2 years until production, and the ones who are deliberately suppressing the share price know that, so they will keep attacking the Pi in the hope that some capitulate under pressure. It’s not rocket science.

Several times now they have attempted to keep us under 13p, and several times they have failed.

The only way they get this lower is, if there becomes a mass sell-off, and I just don’t see that happening.
Every time we dip into the 12’s we see a large influx of buys coming in to support the SP.

Whoever is behind the constant drip feeding of sells is only doing it for one reason, which is when they have accumulated enough shares at these levels, and I’m talking in the tens of millions, they will turn tack and let this head back from whence it came, knowing that as production nears, so to will new ATH’s.
We as Pi’s have literally just got to sit tight or do as they are doing, and collecting shares at these low levels.
Whatever your strategy is, good luck, for me, it’s just sit it out and wait for the inevitable. Just as I see the likes of Sprott and many other knowledgeable investors are doing.
Each day that passes, is just another day closer to BIG PRIZE that awaits all who have the patience.

Well like I’ve said on many occasions, if you are a trader then you have a decision to make, stick or twist. If your an investor, you know you have four aces nicely tucked up your sleeve.
Don’t get bluffed by the Pro’s, when you know the size of the pot to come.

Damo, no institution has prised your shares from your grip. You deciding to sell up is all on you.
There’s a saying in life “Own your own 5hit” don’t blame others for your own actions.
Did the Ukrainian people do the same as you have done in their battle, and capitulate under pressure, NO, they fight on.

Just take a look at the EUA share this morning. It’s been absolutely battered, now down 35% to 11.5p.
Could it tempt those boys to jump ship over here. Let’s see.

Chrisatbirdies I’ve been thinking along that line too.
I think NC will take the 5% just so they will have complete control over the mine. But anyone here thinking to themselves that an offer for the remaining 25% will be imminent, think again.
I think NC have some very disgruntled shareholders, who are a bit peeved that their competitors are paying out far larger dividends than what NC are currently paying.
I think the board of directors at NC are having a tough time of it at present, and will want to put the company on a much more even keel with their peers.
To do that, it will be a case of not spending huge amounts on M&A’s and getting to a position of more profit on the books to appease shareholders.
Only then imo will NC then make a bid to take us out. Five years time is my thinking, once Havieron has started to get into full production and the bank balance is a lot more healthy.
By then the GGP SP should be much nearer to the sorts of figures many have spoken about. Here’s hoping.

Dillon, GGP can't sell to another company without giving NCM the option of right of first refusal, as laid out in the T & C's shown below.

Right of First Refusal:
If Greatland receives a bona fide offer from a third party purchaser to farm-in or otherwise acquire all or part of its right, title and interest in the Remainder Tenements, the Company must first make an offer on the same terms to Newcrest. The right of first refusal will only apply and be binding on the parties (a) in respect of any area of Tenement E45/4701, during the Farm-In Period and for the term of the Joint Venture Agreement; and (b) in respect of Tenements E45/4512 and E45/4928, for the duration of the Farm-In Period.

(Additional Farm-in) within a period of 12 months from the date following satisfaction of the Stage 4 Commitment (Additional Period), Newcrest shall have an option exercisable by written notice to the Company for it or its related body corporate nominee to acquire an additional 5% Farm-in Interest at fair market value.

Here are the latest figures I have available from the top 5 UK nominee accounts

1 - Hargreaves Landown = 918,346,480
2 - Interactive Investor = 468,753,154
3 - Halifax Share Dealing = 302,591,018
4 - AJ Bell Securities = 156,996,529
5 - Barclays PLC = 151,253,780

So just from the UK nominee accounts there are around 2 billion shares held. But that does not represent the many millions from the other Top 120 holders, many of which are Pi's and Insiders.

JB what are you hoping to achieve by obtaining this share register (if it exist or not) ?
It's not as if you are some sort of Robin Hood, trying to convince Little John and Fryer Tuck to join your merry men, in the hope of challenging the nasty Sheriff of Nottingham is it.
So what exactly do you think you could do with the information. You have heard of Data protection haven't you, and I for one would be asking questions if my shareholdings were disclosed by anyone, as I have recently done with my isa & Sipp provider.

You can bet your bottom dollar Biswas is now regretting turning down the CEO's job offered to him by Rio, after all the flak he is under. Just hope it makes him a bit more humble.
