@morbox I think us long termers are in the same boat, we saw a good business suffer by the hand of the covid and crisis addicted worrywarts .gov. Who perversely chose to keep brow beaten businesses afloat too with eat out help out/ furlough ? Defo a case of Stockholm syndrome regarding .gov in this one.

Do I despair at them for causing the public and business undue phycological suffering, or congratulate them for keeping my best interests at heart??

There are 399 vacancies at WAGA alone. I know this sector is transient in recruitment generally , but 400! A few interesting posts for Junior managers. To me these junior positions are an indication of positivity as you don't get much immediate return on your investment for training, so good to see they are investing in the brands future.

Reading between the lines It looks like the labour amendment will get through today . The gov is weak and the rebels will look at praying on a the Prime minister in name only.

I was living in truss land!. Free market economics where people are accountable for their actions, hard work is rewarded, strong business survive and weak ones fail. I think you misunderstood the aims of Ms truss, she was stimulating the economy and getting people to spend their own money how they pleased. Now that that "Chinese Hunt" is in the seat be prepared for a dull dreary winter where all your hard earned goes to the wasteful NHS, because it will come.

A Manipulated Stooge from the Cameron Era is probably not what this country needs. I'd rather have Starmer.
