Somethings people like the look of, others people dont. Alot of things we look at arent purely short term. AST is classic example, they dug a hole (not hoe eh Mrs T :) ) and found nothing. However, the reasearch and factoring didnt rely soley on one hole ! Thats the good thing, all the reasearch done is factored down to its least, we dont start with the top end number. Im not even watching AST interms of selling, why, simply because in 12months time, its a mortgage payer (I think I may be off unemployment benefit by then and be elevated to some minimum wage paying job) :)
BRR however something didnt fit with me, I had a quick day trade on it and made a reasonable 15% , Tipper dave on the other hand had a reasonable two day trade on it then bought back in.....
I think the main thing to consider is that people with far larger pots than I are into most of the things we look at (I beleive over £10 atleast which is massive)
I also take you back to Uriney, hes down massivley, yet has gone back to the brass tacks routine, worth, little debt, and thats something to always remember. Were looking at viable companies with a lesser downside, but still with a very decent upside.
On that note, I need a cuppa, Mrs in bed and Kids watching Sporticus :)
