I think FJP summed it up 100%. The offer for the business will encompass every part of the business. Heres how a share premium works from the companies act 1985.... Companies Act 1985 s.130:-- (1) If a company issues shares at a premium, whether for cash or otherwise, a sum equal to the aggregate amount or value of the premiums on those shares shall be transferred to an account called "the share premium account". (2) The share premium account may be applied by the company in paying up unissued shares to be allotted to members as fully paid bonus shares, or in writing off- (a) the company's preliminary expenses; or (b) the expenses of, or the commission paid or discount allowed on, any issue of shares or debentures of the company, or (c) in providing for the premium payable on redemption of debentures of the company. (3) Subject to this, the provisions of this Act relating to the reduction of a company's share capital apply as if the share premium account were part of its paid up share capital.
Thanks for the heads up on friday RE vero. Having gone through the books and buying in on monday, I felt that vero was worth around 20p everything considered. However I did get abit tied up with some idiot at work wanting something and came back to see 23:25p and dually took the 23p and ran. Wouldnt have noticed here without you bringing it to my attention, so thankyou :) Certainly didnt expect an offer to be coming in, so that just topped today very nicely. Thanks OT :)
was fully intending waiting till the end of september, but holding an average of 5.5 it was just abit to quick a rise for my liking, which fortunatly looks to have played correctly. Their are some very decent opportunities buy on the dips, so It looks like patience and hopefully some limit buys may prove useufull here. Equally, it may just ping again from being oversold at a certain point, either way, freebies running so cant really help but smile :)
Riddle, I felt it got a bit to weighty at 8.55 so bailed (however have left the freebies in). Maiden JORC now out, I do however to see some updates in the next few weeks on the progression of JORC. Im currently sitting watching and if it comes back down to 6.5 or below will look at rebuying. I think it just got a little bit heady a little to quickly. Were seeing these stocks do this every week, theirs always soemthing and they seem to settle down so Ill sit and watch to see if it settles.
The share movement is being kept very calm. Remember this is just the maiden :)
Buy , 500,000 shares to start the morning off !

steady stream of buys through both markets this morning. Looks like another day like yesterday :)
Indeed their is enough working capital, however, DWY will require more should JORC come back with expectations, and considerably more/less if expectations are suppassed/down. That however doesnt mean to say it wont ping, Im just interested in potential costs as well as potenitial income for the JORC.
always pertinent also, what would the funding requirements be to extrapolate DWYs estimates, of say 750K ozs. Its one thing people seem to forget, they see a nice RNS saying "we found 46 bazillion bars of gold/barrells of oil". "I think Ill buy" "Im sure the lemmings, I mean leprichauns can mine this for free" So serious question, if JORC comes back with DWYs expected results, how much money do DWY need to raise ?
I wouldnt worry about it Oscar. However, as youve said its going north, I feel it is my moral duty to go and put my house, the neighbours house, all my relatives house in here now....I cant loose can I ? :) On a serious note, like everything, DWY is a risked buy, the percentage of "risk" on your buy is exactly in the research that anyone has done. to risk, or not to risk, that is the question, or is it the answer ? :)
I beleive from what Ive heard someone has thrown away a "gold bar wrapper" and someone from the DWY team found it, and current estimates show that their may be plenty more than 750 ozs of Mcvities gold bar wrappers in them their hills. Id hate to have a guess, so lets take a guess, how about 2-4mill....... That is alot of biscuits to eat wouldnt you agree :)
north north north.....south south south.....lmao, please, atleast hold of the ramping Oscar till Ive got my fill ! I see resistance point at..........how bad or good the JORC is. Interesting to note however that Osaki and OB having difficulty buying, shares in circa drying up perhaps ? I think that would most probably mean those 2mill sells were 2mill buys, as their was very limited numbers available before even today. Interesting times ahead, whether, up down, or a slight touch to the left. If memory serves me correctly, DWY, are aiming at what, 750K ozs.........So with that in mind, if perhaps JORC comes back decently at twice that, where does that place DWY. Equally, on balance, if it comes back half of that, where does that place DWY.... So many questions to be answered, so little time :)
Good evening. Was my third buy in here and still looking to add a little more before the end of the week, just "tranching" all the way right now, market keeps offerring some very decent inpoints so taking them. Indeed zero news, Im still trying to decide whether the 2million "sells" were infact buys :) JORC expected at tail end of the month earliest, start of October, and should the jorc be above expected levels, then Id expect that the current SP is quite a ****take :)
also took the opportunity to buy some this morning Watchstorm, looks like the sellers been cleared and a fair stream of buys this afternoon. Roll on the JORC
Ive seen a nice bedsit in the locality mate, although I think it might be abit out the price range. However, I am reliably informed that if you know someone who can lay slabs or concrete so a path can be errected, said bedsit could be viable and you to could become scottish.......Either that or I know some people who could help "relocate" :)
ran JORC through windows for workgroups, but all it kept coming back with was "A swedish nutjob singer" , that and show me the money......... Must upgrade to windows 95 soon :)
was kind of hoping riddler no one really noticed DWY for a little bit, looking at the trades the last week however it is picking up abit so nice to see some interest.
Riddler ! Oscar, not a bad bit of diversity in the old portfolio their, which alot of people dont quite seem to do atm ! September should prove a "hopfeully" fruitfull month on some well positioned stocks in what is otherwise a bad market month traditionally. Roll on the Jorc !
so your money would be wrapped around the top of a hendricks bottle ? :)
