Its in no one elses interest to leak this news!!! Like iv said before, it has to be someone from the inner circle of this deal, as the news leak is very very specific!!!

A few reasons:

1. Drive share price up (although this has not worked fully, as it looks like it's being controlled between 3.5p - 4p). Stop acquiring party to build a stake at low levels.

2. Manage shareholder expectations. Told us offer is £100m. Clear indication is we are trying to get more. We are trying our best. I.e. we havent just announced the sale and it looks 'suspect'. Said "If a sweetener is added, Amur are happy to strike a deal"

3. MOST IMPORTANTLY. Open invite to everyone else, last chance saloon for any other interested parties to come forward, as Kun Manie is about to be sold. Like a open auction, current bid is £100m, we looking for a slightly higher offer and we will sell. Like an ebay auction with a minimum sell price :)

RNS would not have worked, would get lost, very company specific. They wanted publicity to a wider audience, and someone credible like The Times which would be noticed!

Next week will be exciting! One clear RNS and let's get the party started! Been 2.5 years for me, any sale would be great, obviously higher the better. Hope atleast one more buyer pops in to drive the sale value up, I think that was the ultimate aim of the BOD!

The word is Amur is ready to do a deal with Sviblov if he agrees to sweeten his offer.

Current offer - £100m
BOD happy to strike deal if more was offered
THERE IS A MASSIVE LEAK ONBOARD AMC SHIP, and they feeding all the news to THE TIMES

Keep an eye out o weekend press. Would not be surprised if they report deal done before issuing RNS!

1. Buyer may have accumulated enough shares to make sure it gets voted through. If its a big outfit, it will have top level advisors, bankers, and lawyers at their disposal to make sure this is the right time, and its doable.

2. IG Copper (Thomas Bowens previous company) sold out for $200m. If you look carefully the resource in situ value was significantly more.

Now I would love it if they got more, all shareholders benefit, however just being realistic with all available info.

To be engaged in sale discussions with the buyer they are surely happy around that ballpark of £100m, maybe revised up through negotiations.

If the BOD thought its nowhere near the amount they are looking for, surely they would have rejected the approach straight away. However they are clearly entertaining it.

Must be a credible party, and they are happy @ circa £100m.

This is why I think it will be done very quickly. Hope they can squeeze it upto atleast 10p!!

Why NICKEL is in hot deman. Global mining companies, car manufacturers and battery producers are all fighting for the best assets.

And Kun Manie is Nickel Sulphide! And plenty of it, to last decades.

No wonder someone is interested in buying AMC.

However news was leaked by a poster on 23rd, day before The Times reported it. Now at that time I also said to myself, I don't believe it!! And look what happened.

One thing we do know for CERTAIN, there is a leak, and a big one at that!!! Not only did they know a deal is on table, but also the precise amount!!!

I genuinely believe this could happen anytime.

It's a disorderly market now. Shown by the movements today.

Someone has clearly leaked information that there is a buyer interested, and precisely the amount which has been offered i.e. £100m!

Has to be someone very close to the deal. As it was initially leaked to The Times, which is very reputable, and would have checked its source before running with it!

What else is going to be leaked? And what else do they know? Who will they leak to next? If there was a higher offer, assuming they will leak again!! Questions questions questions.

If they did not leak the info to The Times, would the company have issued an RNS to let the shareholders know??
