REALISTIC Expectations - Max £140m/$200m30 Jan 2022 11:58
The time is definitely right to sell, BIG question is how much. Hypothetically, I would be happy with 8-10p tomorrow!
If thats the best and only offer, then thats exactly how much its worth! People maybe dreaming about 500m valuation or bringing it to production, lets be honest and real, IT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, give your heads a wobble. Would never have the capital or expertise, time is right to pass the batton on! They/we not getting any younger. Could you wait another several years, and then potentially be in the same boat again, i.e. offered £100-140m!!! Maybe no one interested at all! Who knows, no one can predict the future!
Currently Nickel price is high. Could go higher in short term. But there are a multitude of factors at play, demand could change if change in battery technology, more mines coming online etc.
I'm sure no one in the industry would have guessed how low Nickel would have gone in 2015. And here we are 7 (thats right SEVEN) years later....
Peoples views will obviously differ, but if the BOD got more towards £150m, undoubtedly most would vote to YES to a sale. Will always get a few grumpy investors who are blinded ;) each to their own. Most are disregarding/blinded again that AMC are in Russia, if it wasnt, i would defo want multiples, but sadly it is what it is!!
Lets see what this week brings. All the best.
My opinion is higher the better obviously, but also very realistic, and want them to propose a sale to shareholders asap.
IMHO
