Not expecting anything tomorrow (famous last words ;)) lol, just that news one way or another is due anytime now.

Separation is due to complete in H2, well into H2 now, so just a matter of time!

MM obviously knows what is going to happen. He must have had various meetings with SoftBank, made it clear when the Separation will be complete. And in return Softbank will have made it clear what they are looking to do. MM will show his cards soon!

IMHO Current share price has nothing to do with what Softbank will do (Cannot buy the company at this price due to high BOD and II investors and Golden share, so just an illusion). This is a strategic long term play for Softbank. They have not sold even 1 share since. And if they don't take up option, i'm sure MM has plenty of other takers. He chose Softbank as the right type of investor who believes in the long term vision of THG, he has made this clear a few times. From his interviews he has alluded there were others offering more, but they wanted the right share rigister!

Time to sit on hands, we know what is due, and it's getting close!

Fantastic to see. I'm sure there are many unfortunate people out there who appreciate MM and co for their generosity through their philanthropic activities. What's missing from most in the selfish world we live in today.

One thing I do admire, which is fundamental, through their success, they have also changed the lives of many other people in different ways, a true sign of a great person/leader. Everyone in it for themselves nowadays.

£400k on private security is hardly excessive. I would say it's pretty cheap. Private security could easily cost £1-2k a day.

Since IPO its put him and his family under the spotlight, esspecially after the the bad press around him! Better to be safe than sorry!

Cristiano Ronaldo lives in the same area, he is flanked by a few private bodyguards the minute he steps out!

Atleast the Daily Mail concentrated on MM taking no salary again. Surely if anything this should be the news. Looking at say only FTSE250, how many of the FTSE250 CEO's and CFO's have not taken a salary and given the equivalent amount to charity, I would say not many if any!

My issue is, in 286 pages, this is what they decide to pick on!!! Not the growth, the strategy, the successes or all KPI's getting smashed, but this trivial matter. Lmao.

Someone from The Telegraph (or been fed) has combed through 286 pages of the report, and all they could find to report on was this!!! Really?

It does beggar belief, agenda against THG and personally against MM.

Not even surprised anymore with these relentless weekly attacks. Bring it on. If it's not The Times, it's The Telegraph.

I am sure last time I checked purely looking at acquisitions, they have spent close to £900m since IPO.

No matter which way you slice and dice THG, the valuation is complete nuts, makes zero sense.

Kando - you are probably right. As I have said if THG was close to fair value, no one would be complaining!! Business as Usual

For the BOD how do you get close to fair value if they dont want to sell the PE or take it private. we will soon find out. Separation, premium listing, Softbank, separate listings, improve BOD etc etc

I.e. if a £50k car is for some weird reason available at £10k, bet your bottom dollar you going to get allsorts knocking on the show room wanting to buy!!! Simply this is where we are at! Everyone is knocking on THG door, as they cant believe how cheap it is.

I tell you one thing, WHEN this rerates, all LTH's (the few of us left), fully deserve it, as you would need the patience of a saint through the ride this one through LMAO

Kando - The point I am making, multiple PE's are interested as it's massively undervalued. If it was valued anywhere near fair value, even say £2.50-£3, there would be limited interest. Right now they know there is serious $$$ to be made, even at a big premium!

At this level the huge opportunity is dangling in front of them.

I know MM has the golden share, so low buyout cannot happen. However the minute they issue timetable for Premium Listing, as a condition he would need to drop this, then there could be a hostile takeover!!

One way or another this needs to rerate.

Complete disconnect between Market Value vs Real Business Value. Everyone knows this is massively undervalued...

And the next to no liquidity doesn't help. A few trades here or there each day. Difficult to buy, more importantly if you do need to sell, it's very very difficult!
