I have the title of no1 'ramper' on THG (il take that lol)
Been through some rough times, and alot of nonsensical arguments with blatant paid derampers!
This will take weeks to rerate, official bids, improved bids, and as new bidders enter the fray!
Matt has basically opened the gates, for the bidding war to commence, and it has to be close to fair value, which is NOT anywhere near 170p LOL
We will now get a different breed of derampers, ones which will come out of the blue saying you need to bank your profits etc, you need to ignore, do what is best for you, everyone is in a different position with different entries.
One way or another the rerate was going to happen, as it's simply way too cheap.
What is fair value? £3, £4, £4.50 I have no idea. Hopefully it maximises shareholder value, no matter what the BOD decide.
One thing this has done, everyone has to show there hands now. You want THG, go on then bid for it!!!!
Is this the moment the shorters and algos completely capitulate???
They have to throw in the towel at some point! Even yesterday they were still fighting hard!
(Problem with algos, they are simply programmed to do what they are told, 'unfortunately' they cant hear the gossip and whispers in the City!)
With the after hours RNS's, it has been reported widely already, FT, Guardian, Times, Reuters, Bloomberg etc, people have had time to digest. Friday today aswel, double weekend FOMO LOL
Let the EPIC scramble begin, no doubt plenty of games along the way!
