Its normal market dynamics. More sellers than buyers. The price action you describe previously is when there was larger demand for the shares and fewer sellers. Now its the other way around and the market is long and waiting on a good RNS. I hold and have done for many years so not looking at price everyday.

Indeed. Good to see a decent chunk bought near to the close on a Friday. Maybe market maker caught a bit short.

do institutions sell that quickly ? I am not sure they are stock jobbers ?

I have held Avacta for over 10 years now and added as the rise began on this move up. . I did take some profit at higher levels and now have a very core holding and it doesn't bother me now where the price goes in the short to medium term. The fundamentals look good.
As an aside and I hope you on mind me mentioning but React Group (REAT) which is a micro-ap I am watching with great interest. You may find it interesting too.

I really feel the enthusiasm for this share. An honest business that stands to gain from the current turmoil. Our problem for now is that not enough people know about the company so bulletin boards everywhere need to hear the news. I also havent seen a write up anywhere. Hopefully investors chronicle can get wind. Ive tried to drum up interest on Stopkopedia but normally get shouted down as its too small or some other daft reason. Onwards and upwards and good luck to you all.

Some people may not like Cummings but i think he is smart and better inside government. The press seem to have a go after anybody and anything. Everyone I speak to hate the press. At a time like this when are seeing a reduction in the infection and death rates why cant they focus on the occasional positive. The BBC and SKY are especially negative showing interviews with talking head nobodys. I am sick of it. Thanks god Avacta is keeping us all happy.

I like the price action especially on Friday. It held up well and could have succumbed to end of week profit taking so to my mind, it looks like decent institutional demand on any dip. Good luck to everyone this week.

Good point ref cruise ships. Each one is a very big contract as are schools and colleges. I often wondered when I see foreign news channels and particularly Asian that they are often shown disinfecting the streets. I wonder why we dont do that here ? I am also a big fan of masks to prevent the wearer from infecting others. I lived in japan for a long time and masks are common place and despite the Japanese operating in a mostly cash payment culture ( Credit cards aren't used much ) their infection and death rate is very low.

I am bullish on this stock and still hold but if you feel nervous then take some profit. Not ALL of your profit but some to improve your average ? Helps you get a more restful sleep. Not wishing to teach grandmothers to suck eggs etc but some less seasoned investors may be confused.

Hang in there . It will come right eventually. Its a quality company but just isn't on enough radars yet. A mention in Investors Chronicle or the like would help. Its a genuinely good company so should attract some additional interest. Does anyone know what the institutional levels of share holding is ?

Amazing results. Lets hope the market likes as much as I do. I have held this and added smalls as it dropped so pleased with that strategy. Hopefully above 60/65p over the next week or two and then higher still. The P/E is ridiculously low and plenty of cash too.

Looks like MM walking this up. They are either short and covering their shorts on any small dip or buying in anticipation of better news. price action looks like a short squeeze towards the end of the day though .

Sure. I am in to Avacta at mom. Have had that in the bottom drawer for nearly ten years. Many false dawns but this time i am currently multi-bagging having last bought shares in single digits many moons ago. But I am not bragging. Its more the stopped clock is occasionally right..
