On the subject of averaging down. AKA catching a falling knife which is far more accurate. Buying as the share price drops sounds so credible and 'market savvy' but it isn't, Its financial suicide usually and when a firm like AVN with so much debt is the patient in question its curtains I am afraid. Having traded in markets for 34 years I have never seen a share recover that has lost more that 90% of its value from top to bottom. If anyone can, please tell me.
Please stop buying more. You might as well stand in your back garden and set fire to 10 pound notes.
If the share price does start to climb and that climb is on the back of a massive debt reduction and a huge uplift in sales, then get in there but until that happens what are you hoping to achieve ?
