faulky 47.8 would be a nice close to the week and starting base for next week building to results - obviously the USA will have some impact om where we close today so who knows.

Friday is not always a great day for LLOYDS - Its the city boys bread and butter trading share and if they want bear vouchers for the weekend they sell some shares. Although the current movements are very tight to try and trade so one bad trade and wipe out 4 good trades.

Hi, Is the DOW still in its up trend? Asking for a friend.

Still in holding pattern - although since the low last Monday we are picking up a tiny bit of pace and tomorrow will be interesting, if tomorrow finishes positive we could be into a pre results rise from now.

So based on Dc's analysis the FTSE is now zero.

Oh naughty naughty stagecoach posting complete and utter lies..... PRA have NOT made any such statement.

It is certainly scheduled ahead of half year result!

That's correct harup and LLOYDS is sitting on record levels of cash.

The way stage coach has put that is as though the PRA actually monitor results and then make a decision for LLOYDS on what dividend they can pay -this is simply not true.

On IG charts it looks like the bottom was Monday 1st June - Expecting it to stay around these levels now for 2 weeks then rise into results and divi update (when I say divi update I don't mean a post from DC).

If for some reason we see sub 46p I will double my SB.

I never mentioned the rise but thankyou for pointing it out.

So the DOW closed up a bit.

All I did was try to point out how well LLOYDS has done vs DOW.

Stagecoach can you back this up or is it just your opinion?

It seems to go against everything that is currently happening in the economy.

Banks have already said that there are higher repayments than they expected and plenty of businesses gave money back such as Tesco etc etc.

As I have mentioned in numerous posts the rise in Lloyds has not kept up with the rise in Dow Jones when it rises but when the dow Jones has a bad day Lloyds falls more percentage wise
