Work out your leverage and its the same as buying ffs!!

A 10 grand buy is exactly the same as 200 quid per point spreadbet at approx 50p shareprice - exactly the same risk.

However if you say went to 400pp you would be doing the equivalent of a 20 grand buy - this is perfectly feasible with a 10 grand account equity although younare then leverage 2 to 1 - you can leverage at 5 to 1 on lloyds but that is when it would be "very very risky" as at a grand a penny you would lose half of your 10k equity on a 5p - a 10p drop would wipe you out completely!

Moral of the story - don't leverage to much!

LTI yes I suppose so but compare 10 quid to buy plus 50 quid stamp plus 10 quid to sell equals 70 quid every single trade - Id be certain SB is cheaper but that's just my opinion.

DOW is firing up for a breakout - Restrictions lifted and dividend update should set LLOYDS up for a nice little break out in the coming month or so topping 50p- FTSE to hit 8000 by xmas 2021

I've lowered my positions as I was in to heavy and have already had a good year so chose to derisk but still running 8.5k per penny.

Also taken a small position in Cpi with a one year view.

What you seen there is nothing compared to what will happen IF people get restricted without free money!!

If restrictions are not lifted on freedom day then they never will be - Australia has locked down for absolute minimum cases.

Horrendous start to the week! Seems to be settling in a little to comfortable in this price range for my liking - closed a load of position's last week and started opening today - seen some very bullish news bragging about the ftse recovery last week and then bang nearly half a percent gone on open Monday!

From what I hear in general most people are currently losing money trading these market conditions.

Falky come on 51p by friday? Ill be happy to finish the week out at 47.5p!

Last Friday I think LLOYDS sank into close - this week we are looking forward to Monday when Boris says yay or nay about restrictions be released - if that goes ahead there should be a good day tomorrow imo

Tomorrow is a big day - Fridays can absolutely roar on up or collapse - the annoying thing is Barc reached pre pandemic levels where as LLOYDS and RBS never so they have plenty of scope

The share price was in a trading range of 46.5 to 48p but it is now out of that - I can only say what I see and the whole market lloks weak.

Now that is a clearer analysis than "down down Lloyds down"

Closed some positions - dont like the look of this support at 46 now weak - could well be the bottom but protecting previous profits - all the good news and stuff keeps blody falling.

Dc is it just LLOYDS or are BARC and RBS down?
