Dragon9 - spreadbets are investing - the misconception of spreadbets really does make me laugh at times!!

Although spreadbets are different to buying the shares theuncan both be long term and they can both be a complete gamble. Although they both have different costs involved and have different tax benefits they are both a way of trading the same market.

Casapinos - what you are saying makes zero sense ?! You think large holders of RBS will sell up yet shrewd investors would sell LLOYDS to buy RBS knowing the government is going to sell 15 pc of its stake in in the next 12 months lol?!

I will be happy to see the week out and close around 47p tomorrow ready for rise into results next week - I think this turn around has caught a few by surprise...... Trends change at the flick of a switch and it looks like the switch was 43p.

50p looks very possible next week - I had adjusted my view to see 50p by the end of this year but now its a lot sooner lol !

One more bumper day on the DOW tomorrow and it's record highs - we just need some great results next week!! Although hopefully the results will already be priced in with a nice pre results rise!!

In all seriousness a coin flip trader would get it right more than some of the chartists I see - they only shout about the one in 5 they get right but if that's your way then stick with it.

Fingers crossed we are now into a pre results share price recovery with no silly drops - I don't believe in the whole gaps thing the same as I don't believe in chartist theories and technicals - I believe in market conditions and outside influences and most of all SENTIMENT SENTIMENT and more SENTIMENT along with business fundamentals.

With good sentiment in the remaining 5 days before results we could see 48p or more going into results or we could coast along at mid 45s - the market is bonker currently!!

There's plenty to be upbeat about... Not long to find out either.

To be fair they weren't that clear - was the mistake the numbers or was the mistake telling the real numbers then trying to cover it up?! Don't trust any of them!

Unless there's a rise across the pond later today we are closing sub 43 today - wont be surprised to finish the week lower than 42p then a rise next week into results next week - horrible movements but when a sp has come from lows of 24p its been a pretty spectacular 6 months to hit 50p!
