Toby it happens all the time - the market drops and posters are day dreaming of last years lows happening again - they forget about the progress in the last 12 months with vaccines etc etc. They missed a big opportunity last year and it burns them to their core so they come on here making out it's just LLOYDS and they then start blaming management etc etc.

I referenced your past prediction of "unthinkable lows" which never materialised - you ran off and come back 6 months later with more predictions. In fact the sp doubled after your prediction so lets hope not a single person took your prediction and invested hey.

To talk of 12 year ago is lunacy with share prices - investment is about looking forward hence me making money on LLOYDS using that perspective and you looking back and making none.

I was merely correcting sniges post as it was in accurate and misleading to say the least.

Then we have DT popping up with price targets after months of silence due to LLOYDS making him look a fool with his unthinkable lows projection lol!!

And as for my posts i say what i see - I said i believed we would take a half penny cut on open and look what happened - I'm a very realistic poster when it comes to prices and do not use rose tinted glasses or hopium!

Long term this is rising but short term its getting hit fairly hard - the nhs app is going to bring the country to a standstill worse than covid ever did and that's reflected in the current sentiment.

So when you stated this -

What you really meant to say was the only people that would get a 5.6pc return would be the ones who bought at around 33.9p - instead you tried to word it so people will think the shareprice would drop to 33.9p in order the make that 5.6pc divi work.

In fact who has even said what rate of divi we will get?

The banks have all stated a progressive return to 5 pc in the next few years - you wouldn't be trying to justify to yourself missing out on last years bargain shareprice of 25p would you?!

I don't normally pay much attention to the index futures as they can be a mixed bag and not really a good indication of where the market will go on open - sadly when they are all red like today it does normally mean a down day however.

Freedom day doesn't really feel like it's going to be great lol

Im expecting a half penny knock off the sp straight away

I didnt see much movement happening this coming week other than a small drop, and judging from the last 2 weeks or so 50p started to feel like it wouldn't happen - however I spent a bit of time looking at the charts on IG - the share price although it has dropped back for a good 6 weeks or so does seem to be in a long term upwards trajectory and also mirroring some of the drops we have endured along the way so I'm still positive on LLOYDS and expect 50p to be reached in the coming months - possibly a very soon.

Mossbruck you are defend someone who has been predicting 17p on share that has been rising for over a year vs someone who has been fairly accurate at times - this chat is for the sole purpose of LLOYDS and its shareprice - if you feel that strongly for Rosewell im assuming you shorted the stock at 40p while his/her prediction was 17p?!

Bob I think the city boys are rinsing 10 percent a week currently controlling this share due to weak sentiment - go long - then sell - then short etc etc..... It's definitely been switched to a down trend although still within the 45 to 48p range - be lucky to close above 45.4 today but who knows where monday could go - 47p possibly?!

Today was another sell on open trading op - ftse up banks down - you couldn't make it up!!

Won't be surprised fornsub 46p close today then hopefully a steady increase into results - who knows thought we could hit results at sub 45p the way the market is.

I did think we would see 48p plus before results
