They have dropped the word "highly" cash generative and now just say cash generative...

That says to me profit has gone and cash generation has slowed.

Sorry bf but debenhams market place has made a loss this year - you wait and see.... Its blatantly obviously they dropped the word profit and they are 100 percent talking about the Debenhams market place. Read it properly.

Boohoo could face a backlash at its shareholder meeting on Thursday (18 September), after two advisory groups urged investors to vote against the brand’s executive pay proposal.

Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and Glass Lewis advised that investors at the fashion retailer, which has rebranded as Debenhams Group vote against the executive pay report later in the week, The Telegraph reported.

ISS said Boohoo had not confirmed whether a bonus worth over £2m in cash and shares for CEO Dan Finley was granted on a like-for-like basis for forfeited awards in his previous position.

Additionally, ISS said it was concerned over other bonuses for executive directors.

Its literally listed on companies house.... 4.5 million.... This is the latest comparable accounts...

Twist it how you want with labels etc, debenahams subsidiary paid tax on 4.5 million not 5.5 million...

You wait until this latest years accounts appear on companies house soon and debenhams as a subsidiary shows a loss because that's what is coming...

Remember Dans remuneration was solely on revenue as a figure....

If you want to compare to this year Dan will have been paid 4.5 million for a loss making subsidiary..

Dans total remuneration for the year end 28th February was 4.5 million. (page 98/99 annual report 2025)

Debenhams pre tax profit for the latest set of accounts on companies house was 4.5 million....

I don't even believe debenhams will post a profit for year end 2025...... They have dropped the "highly profitable" slogan and replaced with "highly cash generative"..... Unless someone can point me in the direction of the profit figure for Debenhams for year end feb 25?

Dan has zero morals, zero credibility and zero chance of even getting this back to 39p where he took over.... Let alone adding value.

Hopefully people are starting to wake up and realise he will stiff shareholders at the blink of an eye and that includes the local chat loon.

They will already be planning how to move this forward without the loyal shareholders seeing value.

The remuneration committee is NOT INDEPENDENT - they are all budies and its blatantly obvious the whole remuneration committee needs replacing.

They just cant help themselves, continually trying to take UNDESERVED money.

Basically dopey Dan has been paid for performance in a role that he left 5 months before year end - at that point his bonis should be based on the new role which he has take on, in the process of doing that role he has wiped 70 percent off the share price.

Basically the board are taking money from debt as there is no company cash and also saying sod you to the market, we will do what we want.

They all need ousting and hopefully before the administrator is called.
