A company with no customers would have zero revenue.....

But since topshop has revenue and profit you couldn't be more wrong.

The topshop brand was generating its own revenue, the only thing it did on the asos website was transact.

So topshop was sold as brand, with its own revenue and its own customer base, plus it's own profit.

You seem to be fixated on valuing debs against topshop, has it occurred to younthat one is a business/brand selling its own products and one is a market place so they would not be valued the same way regardless.

By they way how do you know debenhams is still growing?? Id put a strong bet on that revenue generation at debenahams has stalled flat by now..... Roll on h2 and forward guidance.....

I don't know where you are getting this information from but it's wrong - top shop had its own revenue stream and was profitable without being propped up by the rest of the asos group.
