Last full accounts show 1.4 billion revenue, 4600 or 4800 staff (I can't remember which, total staff cost 160 million quid

Last time the company did 1.2 billion revenue they had 2600 staff at total cost of 80 million quid.

With this year looking likely to be 1.2 billion revenue again and no sign of the decline slowing, let alone returning to growth, shows staff numbers are off the chart.

Fair staff number and cost bas right now is 2600 at a cost of 100 million quid... Especially when combined with the automation the business now has.

It will certainly be interesting to compare revenue vs staff numbers when the next set of accounts come out.

Yes Jeremy that is correct we need to cut probably a 1000 jobs if we still have 3500 plus staff (which I believe we do).

The big issue here now, IF that story is true, is lenders are having to poke their noses in to control the management team at boohoo

I have been saying for a while now that lenders can cause a lot of problems if they start to believe their debt can't be paid....

Look at some rough numbers

1.75 billion revenue = loss of 90 million

1.45 billion revenue = loss of 160 million

This year is likely to be -

1.25 billion revenue = loss of 200 million plus

With no sign of revenue shrinkage currently slowing, one would have to assume next years revenue would be under 1.1 billion (if the company lasts the next 12 months on the market)

What loss would revenue of 1.1 billion likely achieve, 220 million?

Are holders here seriously under the belief that Debenhams can save the group with that tiny bit of revenue it gives us?

I've come to the conclusion there must be a secret set of accounts that some of you must be reading, ones that shpw a profit or something.
