Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
RNS has certainly brought the rabble out in force. It depends what he spends it on. If it increases the potential assets on the cheap and they are ultimately worth more than the cost of acquisition, then it's actually a good move, and he's doing the right thing by not spending the money already earmarked for funding the projects in the pipeline this year. This is not a get rich quick share. You have to speculate to accumulate.
If you took the trouble to go and have a look at Brockham yourself, you would know why the pictures appear to be of a field. The field is in the foreground but it is possible to make out vehicles, etc., in the distance near to the windsock. The site itself is down a private road and it is not possible to get closer.
Do bear in mind that as always the period covered in the accounts ended six months ago. Much has happened since then. We always knew there were going to be significant losses in the period from having to shut down Broadford Bridge temporarily. THe oil is still there and UKOG intends to drill a sidetrack next year, and will have the benefit of its findings from last year when it does so. Current production from Horse Hill has been excellent and is projected to increase substantially in the near term. It is being strictly controlled due to current OGA production limitations. The revenue from production is nearly all outside the accounting period. We have huge acreage and a fantastic series of new projects in the pipeline. Therefore in my view the share price should increase considerably, so I've bought more today.
You seem to have misread Weald Oilers tweet. He was referring to each tanker holding 220 barrels of oil. He was not saying there have been 220 tankers, although hopefully it won't be long until we reaching that number.
Couldn't resist buying a few more today at this bargain basement price.
Thanks again to the Eyes for their daily updates. Every tanker full is more cash in the bank for UKOG. Just wait till this takes off - won't be long now IMO.
FOTH's videos from this morning clearly show there was no snow at HH today, so there probably isn't any at Brockham either as they are quite close together, so IMHO it's a bit naughty to suggest that there ought to be a white out in the nitrogen video from today.
Is there actually such a thing? Anybody who argues with negative posters, particularly Scandic, is immediately labelled as such. He knows his comments ****ging off the BoD are completely wrong, but he won't see the error of his ways and lumps positive posters together as IRA'S. Now why would he do that?
Amongst his other inane comments Stu says 'You could get a Labour government, and they will shut down oil.' Err - no they won't. Plank. Colour of government makes no difference. The UK needs oil and gas and we have some at home, so why would we shut down our own production and pay to import it?
Maybe you could think differently and go away until you do decide to invest. There has been recently a constant stream of good news, and we are shortly hoping for some very good news indeed. Most genuine investors are quite happy with what's going on behind the scenes at UKOG. What we don't like is posters who try to make trouble and talk the share price down for their own reasons.
Surely you don't seriously believe they are camped out? They've been observing movements for years now, and the timing of the current level of two tankers per day is fairly predictable. They don't need to be there 24/7, but they are certainly providing us with a great deal of information which is very useful and encouraging to genuine investors. If you think it's an each-way bet at best, why are you even commenting?
Excellent reply wasted. SS can do what he likes with his own money, and I'm sure he will take up his share options in due course. It makes no difference either way. UKOG will not become a better or more valuable company just because a director exercises his options. It's just an underhand campaign to undermine investors' confidence in him. Just wait and see. The very minute he does take up some options, the same posters are going to be screaming UKOG must be in trouble and SS is about to sell out. Personally I'm happy with SS's ability to bring home the bacon in due course.
