One thing the Oxilio raise shows, is how much easier it is to raise money from VC’s than it is in the public market.

They raised 625k by issuing only 0.1% more shares.

Imagine how many shares NFX would have to issue to raise that amount!

It’s a closed shop for private companies, their valuation isn’t determined by market makers and share traders.

Public markets are irrational, sometimes that’s good sometimes that’s bad.

It’s good if you can spot a company that is valued a lot lower than it should be valued simply because the crowd aren’t seeing that.

Oxilio shareholders may seem to be in a good place, but remember it’s very difficult for them to sell.

So the company could all of a sudden see a massive drop in valuation and they have no opportunity to sell unlike you have with NfX.

Oxilio nicely valuing themselves at £350m now just because they are not publicly listed.

Ps. Oxilio just raised £625k.
