Hale, for the Chinese text, I just copy paste it from the link (click and drag over the text to turn it blue, press ctrl A to select all) then go to Bing Translator online and it’ll do the job.
Still not easy to tell what’s going on as the Chinese are as bad as the rest of the financial world for how they write financial statements.
On NSB it’s difficult to tell. The sequence of events I know are:
Yatai Had concerns about income guarantees from NSB.
Yatai sent a group to audit but they could get access to info.
Yatai declared that NSB was ‘out of their control’ - what this actually means I don’t know.
Yatai held an egm on 23 jan to vote to dismiss Jun Ren and a supervisor of Yatai. Not clear whether this covered his role at NSB which he founded.
Yatai announce a £120m loss for the year and write off NSB
Yatai biggest shareholder (36%) has his shares frozen on 7 April
Chinese authorities still investigating.
