Its a reflection of how low 4D have sunk that Masterblast is now being praised for his share price insight...

Another alternative is 4D themselves find funding from somewhere, enough to see us through to vaccine milestones or Blautix P3 etc and we are funded or have option to raise at higher price upon blautix announcement. Overly hopeful speculation I’m sure but until we hear more from 4D/Administrators, I prefer that than thinking about the loss right now.

Anything could happen, who knows. In the scenario below they may continue to trade as 4D but may be funded by the buyer (or finance may need to have been arranged and in place) in which case we might see something of a SP recovery (no doubt after an initial drop) if trading resumes. I know all we can do currently is speculate. Let’s hope we start to get some more concrete information soon.
What I do know is if a buyer was Merck, Pfizer or similar then current market conditions mean little to them other than they can go bargain shopping with their piles of cash. Dream scenario is Merck buy and 4D continues to operate independently under the 4D Pharma ‘a Merck company’ umbrella. I suspect that is unlikely of course.

Also talked about capital markets day, Merck vaccine payments and that they have millions invested between them. You can read into it after the fact and twist it however you like. Not defending them, but also not agreeing with you - or engaging with you further.

Think it’s 5% but unsure. They are dripping with money so loss isn’t too much of an issue, may even be tax benefits to them but my guess/hope is that they want to continue with this project and so may be involved in conversations. Fingers crossed they are.

I doubt they could buy or sell before the AGM. Likely a closed period for Directors but stand to be corrected. Other large holders perhaps.
It is possible, though unlikely, that OF did just drop them in it without warning following the investor presentation. Can’t really see how they didn’t receive some prior signals though. That makes little sense. Duncan did say that other potential funding was in the pipeline. Perhaps OF didn’t like that and wanted the 4D IP’s for themselves. Just thoughts, I have no idea what has gone on here. Still can’t believe it really.

Question is, after being so heavily shorted by algo’s for the past year and gaining no real investment, do we WANT to be back on NASDAQ (if, and it’s a big IF) we begin trading again.

I can see why Merck or another would choose to sit on their hands and wait for data to reach a point where they have greater confidence, doubt they expected this. They would need to do due diligence etc and unlikely to have been ready at the drop of a hat. Who knows, I don’t. Just hope that others with $billions in their pockets think the same as I do.

And a company that they are already heavily involved with, so they must think there is something to this. Yes, its a gamble but a very low cost and potentially lucrative one.

I'm not just saying this because I want my investment back, of course I do, as I'm sure we all do here (apart from the trolls). The science hasn't changed, which on top of the potential for shareholder profits is no doubt the reason why many of us bought into this. It is an area of medicine that I still have no doubt will grow and develop rapidly in the coming months and years. It makes sense, it seems to work and it seems to have very positive beneficial results across multiple areas of medicine. Surely that also registers with big pharma - MSD, Pfizer, AZN and others. How they choose to go about buying into or exploring this area of medicine a different matter but surely this is a dream buy; patents, IP, trial success, manufacturing, cancer success, already raised $240m since IPO for trials and research, and yet its on the floor, and available for next to nothing. I have absolutely no idea if anyone will buy, but it seems like a good deal to me.

Brokers have made their money from you when you bought the shares. They don't really care what happens after that unless perhaps they were holding onto a significant percentage (as they are permitted to do) but I wouldn't hold onto too much hope in that regard.

Someone posted a link to the investor presentation again in Twitter and I've just watched it again. Link below. Although finance is mentioned and clearly important I didn't feel as strongly against Duncan as I did when I joined the live version of this. I think perhaps we had super high expectations for this event which weren't met and that key questions weren't answered. I didn't get the same desperation feeling I did on the first watch. This discussion board will almost certainly stay open until 4D is out of this admin process one way or another. Likely months. For example, RedX Pharma that went through a similar situation, and recovered back to trade again, took around 6-7 months from suspension to resumption of trading. We may trade again, we might not, we may remain as a whole company, we may be broken up and sold for scrap prices. No certainly to that at present.

I'm not so sure it is a gonner just yet (likely, but not certain). There may be interest from a number of parties in buying this or they may solve issues with funding as RedX Pharma. I don't believe a word of their RNS's now but they did state in the last one that they had made good progress (or word to that effect). Whichever way it goes, its going to take time though, we won't know much for a while. Not holding onto any hope is probably the best approach and if anything changes it will be a bonus.
