Scancell founder says the company is ready to commercialise novel medicines to counteract cancer. Watch the video here.
i think people are starting to wake up and take notice, with all the expected continued news flow to come on commercial developments including orders, growing interest from propsective new customers as well as updates on progress with there partners around the world. I think it is fair comment based on this to expect to see the SP comfortably surpass its earlier high of this year. To be invested in a company that is forming solid partnerships in such a strong growth industry and creating the platform that they are with great products then i am definately happy to be invested in ACTA.
Future E/Sefca/Partnerships for back up power systems It is also worth reiterating that as per the RNS in march it states Future E are already tryling there award winning Jupiter independence system with China Mobile having developed the integrated back-up power system for telecoms applications incorporating Acta's electrolyser China is one of the world's largest and fastest growing markets for fuel cell back-up power systems, and spends $4.7 to 7.8 billion per annum on batteries for the telecoms industry (Source: Fuel Cell Today). China Mobile, the world's largest mobile phone operator, itself has more than one million telecom base stations, all of which require back-up systems, and this network is currently growing at the rate of over 20,000 base stations per annum Actas other partners M-Field and SEFCA in Taiwan and Australia respectively are progressing well with customer trials with a major telecommunications company for this same application and have placed a number of repeat orders. Just from this update in March It is clear that the company are not standing still and have a strong belief in there products which is already being mirrored by the repeat orders they are recieving which is a strong statement in itself. This has been taken a step further and been reinforced now with there very own Acta Power back up power system which they have recieved there first order and subject to trial could lead to implementation of larger scale installation of Acta Power systems for their remote base station sites Dont think it will be too long before people start pyling in again as there is so much to look to look forward to in terms of news between now and the interims in September at the very least.....
The company will have worked out there figures and how many of there products they would like/need to sell initially this year and have increased there factory space to cater for this. I would imagine as in most manufacturing/supply leading times for units quoted will go out or come in depending on the demand and orders already recieved. No decent company would be daft enough to say they could deliver x amount a units at the same time if they were not geared up to do so and put the future of the business and new customer relationships at risk. We should just let the company get on with getting the orders in which is the important part. This a massive growing industry and acta have positioned themeselves well to gain a foothold and a portion of a huge pie that is going to be available as the demand increases year on year for these systems. Exciting times!
I said this the other day it is common that clients pay a good percentage up front for products on order and pay outstading balance on deilvery..What acta get paid up front might well be the cost of the materials and putting it together.. This is how often how i have found it in my line of work particularly when ordering specialist equipment that is of certain value.
Just read the RNS and another good update from the company and looks like yet another major company that they are working with. The important part is that this goes well and they secure the orders for the supply of the units for the remote base stations...look forward hopefully to a positive update on this in the next 3 month Its gonna be great going forward for the company if they can take advantage of all these oppoortunites and build on them with such clients due to the increase in demand for this technology and systems which is increasing year on year. Could be Skys the limit as they say.! So much going on and happy to sit back and wait to see the acta story unfold and top up on the drops as and when the funds will allow...
What a great simple post and would advise anyone who has any doubt just take another look through the RNS news..it is clear what progress has been made here over the last 12months or so which is only the very start of the journey... A lot of people will have made a lot of money out of this share a few months ago and will be licking there lips seeing the SP slipping hoping to get back in at the lowest SP possible which is fair enough but it wont be for long until this rises again and think the journey north could be sharper than last time so hopefully will catch a few out who are playing the game. Would be nice to get a further update with some meat around the bones following the last RNS and also any developements from the singapore exhibition and fuel cell conference in Canada both taking place in June. Will be topping up next couple of days if one of my other interests falls the right way...GLA
The company seem to be progressing the company and products very well and would have thought they would have factored payment for supply into there T&Cs..for example if an order is placed for there highline units i wouldnt have thought they would say yeah we will go out and purchase all the material and provide the labour and then you can pay us at end of leadtime, supply and commisoning etc. you would have thought it would be something similar to x amount on reciept of order and remainder on delivery...Im sure the company know what they are doing and will do what is right for the company and its continued growth which in the end should benefit all including us shareholders... Aside from this point raised it is Great news ahead of the exhibition in singapore and fuel cell conference in that that FutureE has just won the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation for there Juipiter independence which acta have contributed with. Acta seem to be cementing there name across the globe and tying up important agrrements with partners and key players in this industry..so lets have some positivity and patience.....

SymTyre-S300, One of the other Symphony Products that could become a very profitable revenue stream this year as well as the recycling potential. New tyre cutter to assist with tyre recycling Published: January 19th, 2013 | in General Tyre News, Tyre News, tyre technology Those piles of car tyre mountains are set to become history with a new tyre cutter and flat packaging system that has been launched by Symphony recycling. The cutter has the capability of reducing a tyre in just one minute making the recycling process a lot faster and easier. The machine is small enough to fit in a garage and once the tyres have been cut up they can simply and efficiently be flat packed ready for transportation. Named the SymTyre-S300, this cutter has been developed for Symphony Recycling Technologies Ltd, a subsidiary of Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc, the AIM-listed environmental technology company. They operate in over 90 countries across the globe and Symphony is a world leader in environmental plastics and recycling technologies. Using advance technology the tyres are cut into three parts during one process: the two sidewalls and the flattened tread. It then makes a transverse cut of the tread, turning it into a strip of rubber. Once dismantled they are then loaded into a ‘stillage’- a purpose designed cage. This leads to considerable space and energy savings in transportation and storage. Trying to recover material from tyres in a way that is commercially viable has never been easy which in turn contributes to the difficult task of disposing and recycling used tyres. Recycling is an essential part of protecting our environment and with the UK alone producing approximately 55 million waste tyres a year this new invention is very much welcomed. With the introduction of this new tyre cutter Symphony hope to alleviate the problems of illegal tyre dumping whilst creating more control over the way in which scrap tyres are disposed. The company foresees a high demand for the cutters across the world and the machines will be available on either a sale or rental basis. They also intend to offer a collection service for the flat-packed tyres from garages and tyre depots.
What i like about this company is it products and its already is creating avenues with its many distributors around the world. It is also extremely encouraging to hear about changes to legislation in countries which are looking to address there various pollution problems etc which are providing further opportunities to this company and its distributors. The seem to be reaching the right people in terms of governments around the world who are aware of there technology. They have obviously had issues over the last 12 months which they obviously need to address and perhaps work closer with there distributors but im sure that they are working hard to resolve these issues and the benefits for everyone should follow....I got in here earlier this week but not sure what the MM are upto seemed to be a few buys going in the last few days and a small tick up and then as soon as a small sell appeared it was back down again...Hopefully Positive news on the horizon soon...Would welcome any sensible balanced views from others..GLA
Hopefully this company will start to pick up again this year...and would be good if we could hear about some good news coming through off the back of recent changes to regulations in Pakistan that come into effect in April...Also interesting read below. In January 2013, Symphony Environmental Technologies PLC and Eco-Polymers exhibited at the 11th ARABPLAST trade show in the UAE. This was the 4th time that they have been present at ARABPLAST, and it has proven to be a huge success. ARABPLAST is the most important exhibition for the plastics industry in the Middle East. In addition to this market-leading d2w oxo-biodegradable plastic technology, Symphony introduced recent innovations such as d2p anti-bacterial and anti-fungal technology (a world first), d2t tracing and tagging technologies and the d2Detector. These pioneering products have generated a huge amount of interest, confirming that this year's exhibition was the best to date. Their large and impressive Stand welcomed Royalty, Government officials, CEO's and managers from a record number of nations from the Middle East as well as from Russia, India, Europe, Turkey, and China. Several members of Symphony's dedicated Middle East network of Distributors also attended the exhibition from their countries. The d2w brand has continued to spread its influence and environmentally-responsible message throughout the Middle East and the wider world, generating public awareness and commercial interest. The Minister of Economy for the UAE, His Excellency, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri visited Symphony's Stand and expressed keen interest in the new d2p anti-fungal plastic technology and its potential to extend the shelf-life of perishable foods, especially bakery and dairy products. At a gala dinner Symphony's CEO Michael Laurier was presented with an award for Symphony's support for supply and innovation services. Mr Laurier said: "We are delighted to receive such high recognition and to work on further development of our products. We are very proud of our distribution network and the support that we receive from our distributor-companies on a daily basis." He also congratulated the Fujairah Plastic factory, Symphony's largest customer in the region, for receiving an award from His Excellency, Dr. Rashid bin Fahad, the Minister of Environment and Water, for being a pioneer of the best environmental practices. .
