Well this is AIM so I'd expect a further drop as caution turns to disbeleif :)
I was thinking very similar, makes a good read over coffee. ta chaps.
sweep? we dont talk about sweep, ever since he got caught upstairs shorting an oiler I was quite into he's not been considered part of the household
</daftness>
See what happens. My main reason for popping up was to encourage some discussion - discussing it over and over and what might seem like basic or obvious/repetitive points might grate some nerves but I for one use these boards for discussing these things over and over, and if you can navigate the squabbles it does make good reading.
fair logic, but I'd still be mindful that two competing potential bidders could play race to the bottom, which obviously one needs to blink first but could still deal a lot of damage the lower its allowed to go before it happens. Potentially painful for the PI, especially those who have been quite heavily invested or been in it a considerable time.
I would like to think there's potential, but (I empthasise the phrase 'constructively') the debate wants to be had (even though I know these are regurgitated points as I lurk a lot) becaause as nice as it would be to do so, nothing right now can be dismissed and reliant on 'how much do you want it'.
There's potential, but well performance is poor - would a company rather snap it up to save the risk losing it, in favour of gambling not getting a look in, but with the upside of a stinking bargain if they do?
Food for thought i'd say
raises a genuine point though? what are the thoughts on this strategy?
'I insist on stating my opinions but don't worry i'll have run long before you say yours'.
poor form
It is not advice, but I'll be starting just after morning tea.
It's the best I can do for now!
seriously though, hope everyone has a good one (weekend that is). It has been an an interesting back end to the week here. Hopefully it can bode well for everyone next and forthcoming weeks.
we're all in the same boat. I intend to defend my position from a fort I expect to build on the beach tomorrow.
I will also be building a moat. They have no chance.
*jerks out of slumber* so this ain't a dead cert then? :/
....what the rocks are cooking?
As much as it detracts from the forum, you know somethings simmering when accounts start being registered to post *******s :)
Let the drill do the talking. For better or worse :)
"as I said before, certain amount of desperation creeping into certain posters, its becoming all so obvious and predictable"
does it really matter though
struggling to find anything difinitive of this, but obviously a lot of the info quotes on chance of success probability value, though there is several potential targets in a single drill. What follows might be seen as a dumb question but no matter.
Anyone know (even roughly) how the single value chance of success is determined in these cases?
its a good board generally. there's a few people who like to call others out, or differ in opinion for what from the outside looks like its in the sake of having a difference of opinion, a few people calling others out on claims whilst in the same sentence making claims to the contrary - it takes some variety to make a society so to some extent its to be expected
what does seem odd though if things are really that bad why dont people vanish to places more suitable? nah, i seriously think people'd rather pointless debate
"20% upside before we get news"
You sound too sure.
...and I do apologise if it is, but how is success (i.e chance of success for a given drilling target) defined in terms of investor material on here, is it based on whether the resources can be found/exists at the location, or whether its commercially viable?
I keep having a nosey through the investor material and one of the key positives I see about SL seems to be the multiple opportunities it offers and just interested how this ties into the calculated likelihood of success.
I'll rephrase - what I said makes it sound like people don't do research haha, but I don't think it unrealistic they'd throw some presentations around the launch of drilling to re-cap on progress up to this point, the potential rewards and so forth, if you've been hanging onto every detail so far you'll probably find it a bit same-old - but don't forget its potentially as much a sales pitch as it is a delivery of news.
Just my 2p for what its worth
Drum up some interest? I can't imagine every potential investor reads every presentation
I read your post as "shame no rns because it could calm nerves about delays"
I recognise you didn't actually say it had been delayed, nonetheless I hope it isn't.
