Would give RM the choice of resigning or taking massive pay cut. A small university spin off company should be paying 100K a year max. Don't think it would take a new ceo very long to get up to speed and would probably add a bit of vision and energy.

Hope TFG don't wipeout the rest of the shareholders out now. They've let the Synairgen management twiddle their thumbs for the last 3 years and waste the best part of £20 million. They should have taken action whilst the company had resources.

Sounds like you’ve sold up anyway but don’t be put off by other posters. I’ve been in other shares where people who have questioned or doubted the company have been shouted down but have proven to be right. Your arguments are well reasoned and it is good to get all opinions. I hope you are wrong though and we are well rewarded by this share. If you don’t return gook luck in your future investments.

Your'e probaly right Drac, the lower price certainly ensured the raise was successful. As long as P2 results continue to be good the turn of the year is going to be very interesting. Would they dare try another raise for P3 and go it alone and or is this beyond them?

Someone mentioned on a previous thread that the company may retreat back to being a small research company. The truth is it already has and hence does not require a £350K CEO or many of the other high paid staff. Someone also mentioned honourable scientist. What is honest about not communicating with or being accountable to the owners of the company? Synairgen will not try and raise this year and probably never will blaming market conditions when the company eventually calls it a day. We do not need any news for there to be an AGM, just get on with it.

Marsden certainly won the lottery when he got this gig, maybe he won £300k a year for 30 years funded by SNG shareholders.

Only TFG can bring an end to this nonsense. I accept that I'm mainly to blame for my investment in SNG and have now completely written it off. What I struggle with is the board carrying on huge salaries with not an an ounce of humility. To me its morally criminal.

In my opinion the company made a big mistake causing significant extra dilution when the raise was required. The raise should have been done around the £2 mark not 85p. Not so bad if you could afford to significantly average down but otherwise costly to most LTH's. Anyway, onwards and upwards and the future is looking bright for Faron.

Hope you are right Fruits but I still think the majority of LTH's have a lot less optimism and faith than you. As for TFG who knows? Even the most ardent supporters of the company must be concerned by the lack of progress over the last two years and the lack of contrition by the board.

Mentally I've moved these shares from the bottom draw into the loft for the great grandchildren. But, you never know!

We'll never know but I'm not expecting any attempt from the company to raise funds in 2024. Unfortunately only TFG can force them them to significantly reduce costs straight away although I could easily save cool £350k a year by getting rid of that useless lump Marsden.

I think most LTH's realise the game is up but want an AGM to confirm this and vent their frustration/ anger at the weak invisible management.

If all the 'hard working' but massively overpaid managers of the company took a 50% pay cut and they got rid of all the roles that a small research doesn't require they could afford a P2 trial. Can't believe TFG don't agree and even Tommy must know its time for some drastic action?

I’d rather save the money on Mrs Clarke salary than have quick replies from her that add nothing of value. She should have left the company much sooner along with many others soon after Sprinter results. It was not her fault but she never had anything to communicate.

How many people work for SNG and what is the wage bill?

They have retreated to being a University research company but have a large workforce on vast salaries paid for by us. RM should have reduced wages and size of workforce immediately after sprinter results knowing they would not get a product to market for years. Thats what any good ceo should and would have done. You may be happy with the current state of affairs but the other 99% are not. If you are so confident why do you need to defend the company all the time. Just sit back and tell us 'I told you so' when it somes good.

Every post on this board is potentially misleading because Synairgen have said feck all for the last 2 years apart from a vague P2 trials will start in H1. This share is currently uninvestable and as an owner (part) I find it utterly ridiculous. No matter what the outcome of the next few weeks is RM has to go.

Just a word of caution that there a no such thing as a dead cert, only invest what you can afford to lose. I’m speaking from experience, I’m sure Sax will agree with what happened with Synairgen.

What do people make of Juno? I can’t decide whether he is bullish or a bit arrogant and if he is the man to get this over the line or will just blow all our money.

Was expecting the share price to go up to £2 on latest P2 results followed by a fund raise at £1.5. Was surprised at the increase to £2.50+ but shocked at the raise at 85p. If they achieve the full raise at least it provides clarity and ensures P2 is completed. My concern is we will never see true value on successful P2 results as Big pharma/partner will know Faron will not be able to raise any more money to take the product forward to P3. The hope is there will be more than one interested party or approval is granted after P2.

Do any of the more informed posters on here know why the trail costs are so high for so few particpants and are you going to participate in the fund raise?

This will be my last investment on AIM and start up pharma. I appreciate these are high risk investments but there seems be no benefit from early investment as the process takes far longer than anyone expects and there are so many fund raises along.the way. I've been in for 5 years but could still buy shares cheaper now than at any time within that period. Faron looks pretty attractive now for new investors but not so much for damaged LTH's.
