Can not understand these shares falling at all TW. have always held a good land bank quite rightly so .Many years ago when in my business of hotel management a farmer customer once informed meniscus conversation that a square foot of Lino which at that time was what was generally used fo floor covering cost more than a foot of land ,adding that the Lino would wear out but land would never wear out thus always gain in value because land cannot be replaced as easy as Lino.

No idea Nige I can not say anything rings a bell with me there . I do remember the name though .

I do not know what you guys are thinking at this moment in time but Tony mind there is some really big money messing about with this stock market at present ,it is not straight forward dealing at all .

All right you have talked me back in Nige Co it’s just that I am getting a bit old now so I will just have another shot at it . I am completely out of TW THOUGH AND very leased to be at the moment although I do hope houses are going to hold there own of course..

Am out now can not see itv going anywhere in the near future . Can’t see Liberty stepping in as what has happen with all three in New York can not see any future of that .

My daughter works on a cookery programme in America they have just had to take out what she thought was a very good scene using a black Lady actress who was very good at quite a large cost to the shooting bill.

All shares have dropped today as they do from time to time the next report will soon be out and we will hear more about the present situation but for everyone at the moment it is very dodgy . I am very happy not going on holiday at present as I usually use my divis for that from ITV and TW but this year I won’t need them.

Itv have a production office a short way along from where Optomen were as also are Disney within the same area if Liberty do take it over they would not need so much office space as they would be inheriting then , But I do not think that would be the reason for the move as optimum are owned by all three media I believe jointly with Celebrity Channel.

Just one of my friends who has worked there for many years has informed me .

Could be interesting in time ,all three media Liberty’s Production arm are just about to close Optimum down in New York this has been probably One of the most lucrative offices they have had over the last ten or so years. A great shame for all the very loyal staff they have had there for many years seeing everything they have strived for over the years taken away from them on a whim.

As soon as company’s open up and want business they will be banging on ITV S DOOR .

The biggest problem ITV have at the moment is Production which will Then attract advertisers . However I feel sure that the powers to be are well aware of this and all being well will solve all the problems which I am sure they will have . But in fairness we can take in the advantage they have had for the past few months .They have been employed and working and staying on air and in business . Unlike Cinemas Theatres or restaurants .

Yes I know that is the way of thinking at the moment Nige but ITV has been a very good vessel for share dealing that is buying and selling for many people myself included . But I am in for the long run now . I am not a great enthusiast of Britbox but it will be marketed a lot more very soon and then we will see if it has merits . They ought to have been abl to set something like it up 10 years ago .

I really do think that Liberty have to much on there plate at present to do any insider dealing as you are surmising in any case they would not even want you to think that they were getting up to anything like that . But in all seriousness they have a very large amount in TV Production which is at an almost standstill at the moment . All production has to be insured and at this present time and insurers will not insure against Coronavirus.

Just go to Liberty Globel first item is Mike Fries who is the CEO speaks to Bloomberg and he is a very astute guy .

The CEO GIVES A GOOD REPORT for holders of ITV to listen to on there sight wich I think it is very interesting I am always very interested to hear his remarks as if Liberty do eventually decide to take ITV he will be the man in charge of the buy out.
