That's very interesting. Consider this though if 60m shares dumped onto the market and the price has barely dropped. In a weeks time if the buy rate were to continue the opposite would be true there would be huge pressure on supply and the price rockets. Its like the overhang has prevented the price from normalising but if this is true there is actually huge underlying demand for the stock.
When he talks about half the business being owned by himself and a few friends, the sp moves around by a small balance of shares is he suggesting the option to take it back private or attack the shorts by buying up chunks?
Ocado from memory dropped from 200p at ipo to 50p amidst hate from the press and ii at the time. If you had bought that drop your 3500% up now. Make your own decisions about the business rather than be influenced by those seeking a quick buck.

Blackrock could also have hedged their stock at a far higher price through subsidiaries avoiding the radar, perfect to finish the downtrend with a pi panic enduced drop having sold out leaves best price to close the short.
Yes either the stock hasn't been sold and the article is to drum up interest from other ii for private sales or its done and now they have to let the public know. Judging by the stocks tsunami drop you would believe they have sold already but if that's true they should have informed the market along the way.
The fact that they have a book runner makes me believe they will sell these shares privately otherwise why would you employ them. If they intended to sell on open market they would have just gotten on with it already and wouldn't advertise before doing so.
