Have you seen how much the sp would jump at news of Glencore buying us? Alot better than more dilution and placing

If Glencore bought everything, then shareholders would either get a cash payment when it delists or shares in the acquiring company

Jaglith- why would another ceo come and takeover a plant that doesn't work. You said some one at Glencore can just buy prem using their lunch expense card. That's cheap and they can fix the plant with their own team of people. They are willing to pay canmax off, so why not take everything on the cheap and pay them off as well. I'd rather be taken over by them than canmax for sure

Then they should sell to Glencore. If GR can't fix these issues, canmax are not going to be happy. Something has to be done and a new ceo isn't going to solve what GR couldn't, unless they go out and fix what the staff can't

There will be dilution because people voted for it. If they don't get enough votes then perhaps GR will retire earlier and canmax or another company will take over. How many times are shareholders going to give the company chances to fix a simple issue. If you voted For, then you asked for this. GR can't raise without the majority of votes

George is an old man that sits at a desk. He doesn't go fixing anything. Even the new ceo will be a desk jockey. There's 2 outcomes here. 1. GR successfully fixes the issues in time; Glencore signs the contract, pays off the debt and takes the product (which they want) and a new ceo takes over from George. 2. GR doesn't fix the issues; Glencore doesn't sign and either a new ceo has to takeover and arrange an extension or zulu goes to canmax or another company. The plant will definitely goto the highest bidder. The mining sector contributes roughly 12% of Zimbabwe's GDP and is fierce competition, This is why Glencore are sniffing around. so it won't be sitting around empty for long

Canmax could say no like last year when the vote didn't go through. They could take over or Glencore could pay off the debt and take on zulu on the cheap. GR is leaving. It's easy to blame George, but we know he doesn't fix the equipment and advise on what parts are required to resolve the issues. So why aren't the crew doing this correctly. They must be qualified to know exactly what is needed to fix the issues

You are right Anunnaki. This is definitely coming from above GR. There is other board members and they will continue after George retires. If canmax didn't want the raise and consolidation, they will vote against it. Last time he didn't get enough votes. He's had too many chances. Let's see what the percentage for the raise and dilution is next week and If its high, we definitely know canmax is also a part of this and Glencore will be soon enough
