Why invest here5 May 2020 12:23
Why invest in Gunsynd today?
To be quite honest, it is because you want to take a take a gamble on:
Alcohol
Hospitality sector
Oil
Natural resources in the form of mining, maybe even in the precious metal sector in Australia.
About the Alcohol and hospitality sector. We are invested in HUMAN BRANDS INC., soon to to be renamed ROGUE BARON.
There will most likely be a cash rise for ROGUE BARON at some point here in 2020.
They have decided to put the hospitality sector on hold, due to COVID-19.
But agreements have been struck with outlets in the US regarding some of the Alcohol brands.
Hopefully the same can be done here in the UK.
Alcohol always seems to do fine, and there is always an appetite for new products.
With a premium Tequila and a Japanese whiskey that seems to be very appealing to the young generation, we are well geared to be successful.
It is products that can not just be created on the spin of a coin, unlike gin.
Oil.
We got shares in United Oil and Gas.
They got oil producing wells.
With the current oil price, not much fun, but if you expect the price to rise then it is worth a gamble.
Talking about gambling when it comes to oil, it does not get much better then with our assets in ZTR ACQUISITION CORPORATION, this company has our former assets in OYSTER OIL.
We might very likely loose the licenses in blocks 1-4 in the Republic of Djibouti, if I have understood the interim results from 27-4-2020 correctly.
There seems to be more hope for the Madagascar assets, but we are not totally out of the woods here either.
But we can certainly hope that in these trying times, the governments in the two countries will rather deal with someone they know a little bit.
Who are debt free and can raise capital.
Natural resources, well here my biggest hope, is the stuff that we do not have yet, the stuff that might materialise in the future.
According to RNS Number : 9992K on the 27 April 2020 in the Outlook section:
“Over the past quarter the board of Gunsynd has been actively conducting due diligence on a number of early stage exploration opportunities in the Australian precious metals sector. With the current gold price reaching record highs of 1,800 USD/oz ($2,800 AUD/oz equivalent) early stage exploration has a strong tail-wind of risk capital willing to invest in in this sector. Due diligence is ongoing and the board hopes to secure an attractive exposure in this space in the short to medium term.”
I am hoping that this will materialise and equally much I hope those companies are placed in the Paterson province. A current hotspot.
There are a couple of companies here that I would deem highly interesting.
Antipa Minerals.
Artemis Resources
Greatland Gold
If we could become an institutional investor in Greatland Gold, that would be the crown jewel for me. I see this company and what they are doing at Havieron as safe as safe can be.
Almost completely de-risked.
It is a diffe
