Nice to see us above the 460 support level. Surely this will meander upwards from here. Buying now will give a near 9% return in the form of dividends, within a month, if the s.p stays where it is.... Agree with the rest if your comment compass, I have bought in for a LT capital gain....GL
Bad news or a big offload???
Yep its also based on, above average volume again today, There has been some steady 1m plus share trades for last 3 days. Some felt that the placing shares the BOD took was a poor sign, that it was because they couldn’t get the rest away. Could well be that they have “bought” in ahead of news??? Soooo glad i topped up earlier in the week... Interesting days??? Need to close above .40, break the temporary ceiling. GLA LTH’s S
RNS out..
Richteex - three little words - Fear of placing. It was genuinely good news yesterday, appetite for the shares is out there, but fear of placings, means IMO, FOR THE MOMENT, a share spike like yesterday is unsustainable. People topslice or sell out knowing, on the balance of probability, they can rebuy in a day or two. Its a dangerous game, because if these solid steps in production continues, it will go one day and NOT come down again. I have been in since November ‘16, the charts don’t lie, its been very difficult. But the company will eventually shake itself of the stigma and move on. Don’t know if you were here for pine mills, but until now, I don’t think the BOD managed to shake off the disappointment. But the signs are encouraging, even though the balance sheet still needs longterm stabilisation. Keep the faith. S
Yep its a whopping 1.375-1.59 on IG ! Expect a sell order?
You might get a chance sooner than you think??? EU finally looses patience and refuses extention, giving only a 3year transition to no deal. Ftse tanks then recovers. 1% chance giving a 100% opportunity to get in at bargain prices. You might get your 200p then. IMO on fundementals, you might have a bit of a wait. GLA wnon’t be boring either way.
Yep agree 5.50 is a little ceiling, but this has to surely get back up towards 6.00 in the next few weeks??? If div’s get approved, there is @7% in payments coming in early July, thats got to help concentrate the mind. We’ll see, here’s hoping. S
Afternoon, agree with you luddite. Have just bought in for the first time. If, we do leave the EU, we’ll be so closely aligned it will matter not. If we don’t leave, we IAG will head north. Awash with cash, and a good dividends, should be a good LTH punt IMO. S
Morning,Just so you aware, there is a front page FT article regarding Barclays. Mainly due to Mr Bransom & how he managed to get his holding via BofA. I think there is no chance of any of replicating it, but shows how its done?? Have a good day. S
IMO this share has only been down this way three times in ten years... downside minimal ( apart from disorderly brexit) think this is a base for a gradual rise. In the past it risen back upto the 50month m.a which should be abt 190ish in 6-8 months. Not much solice I know, but with dividends that will be abt 33% from here. Based on History, only way is up. Hi, if you look back througg the last 10years of share price movement, this is at one of its lowest point, the 4p coming up in a week or so is @ 2.5%ish, the overall is well over 3.5%. If the shares moves historically, then a rise if 20-30% could well be achievable over the next 12-18 months. I guess you knew all that, but its worth the risk in My Very Humble Opinion. My money, my risk, whats the hassle??? Sorry if I upset you??? S
BB, Dangerous those “brexit pints” , believe they make you argue with everybody, your unable to agree on anything, it finally knocks you out & when you wake up, your alone in the big wide world ;) I’ve bought in today for the first time today. If the politicians bottle it, which IMO they will, then this could recover back up above 180, dividend is 2.5% as well, so worth the risk. GL S
