Production needed28 Apr 2018 12:07
Hi all, just catching up with all the chat. Three thoughts come to mind. 1. Reserves: Good to have them in the back pocket, but IMO its the rate of extraction needs to be raised before banks maybe interested. Our share is roughly 30ish from both welch & Arkoma. Yes that could be raised by ESPs’, but that equates to 22k p.a. Better than a poke in the eye with a stick lets say $30 profit a barrel. Still under $1m way below operating costs. So we need that production increase or a promise upgrade, to attract a bank. 2. NTOG references: was in that one a while back and , yes, missed the rocket to outerspace. Their running costs were tiny and it was obvious to all, that pine mills would make the whole company cash positive. It has been since February. Mosman, unless it can guarantee to produce a similar outcome from investment, will struggle to get investment. There are literally hundreds of companies in the shale industry coming back into profitability due to the poo rise. We will have shuffled down the list for capital, especially with the 2x share purchases we made that didn't light the world up. Comparisons with NTOG is therefore, IMO, irrelevant. Our BOD approached banks a while back with our plans. Lets just say they have not jumped at the chance. 3: Time: We have this summer financing gap. Q3/Q4, every month we are loosing money.fact. Yes, it is a better picture, but none-the-less the clock is ticking. JV’s have been dought, but again nothing so far. The summer need for a placing is going to be very “ hot” unless they can secure this oroduction upgrade sooner than the latter part of the year. I have a lot riding on this, but this is still the A.I.M and the BOD still has a lot to do to erradicate the past disappointments, remember any bank will look at the last 7 years book to equate their risk model for the future. Its getting better, but IMO the bank facility is a long shot until production makes us highly likely of being cash positive. Just some thoughts, have a great weekend. S
