Hi, can any savvy person who knows how the SP mechanism works help shed some light on this confusing (to me!....easily confused.com) issue please?....it bugs the hell out of me!

It is quite a common occurrence that deals go through and are neither recorded as a sell or a buy because they are settled at mid price between bid and offer, or very close to it.

Assume that one day there a hell of a lot of them recorded
If they are buys, they would go towards a tick up wouldn't they? and vice versa for sells.

Are they recorded somewhere else as well, so that the proper information can be fed back into the calculations for determining the share price?.....is this done after hours, or is it just left out of the calculations?

....indicate that there has to be news soon......news could burst out from so many fronts that it's just a matter of time......wonder which direction it will first come from? Who will make a move first?

Lithium is especially the topic of the moment....there are dozens of articles released daily in every mining, economic and share oriented websites worldwide, but any direction for AXM products will be mega and more than likely start an unstoppable chain reaction.........environmental concerns is increasingly becoming a worldwide primary issue and AXM processes are environment-friendly oriented compared with existing processes......no brainer!

Come on Cleggy/Rosser, time to sweep up all the crumbs and open some new packets of biscuits!!...(and pop some champaigne while you're at it).......we're going to have a party!!

'Sucking the Atacama dry

Chile is the only country in the world where water resources and water management are completely privatized. SQM currently owns the water rights for the region around the Salar de Atacama, and environmentalists say it has exploited the precious resource to cash in on lithium.

The Atacama Desert is one of the driest places on Earth and lithium extraction has a direct impact on the water reserves in the region. The groundwater table sinks, drying out and rivers, streams and wetlands that are home to vulnerable wildlife.

And the mining process can contaminate drinking water, too. "The company steals our water," said Ana Ramos, president of the Council of Indigenous Peoples of Atacameños.'

We know that AXM s processes are relatively environmentally friendly, I am hoping they are more water efficient as well.............If they are, then we could be in big business here!.....SQM have very deep pockets......their shares are worth $12 Billion plus!

‘China’s biggest lithium company, Tianqi Lithium Corp. won a favorable court ruling…… a Chilean court signed off on an agreement that Tianqi struck with the country’s competition regulator over its proposed $4.1 billion acquisition of about 24% of shares in Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile SA, or SQM.
SQM currently controls about 18% of global lithium production capacity, while Tianqi controls 10%, making the companies the second-largest and third-largest players in the market, according to data from IHS Markit . U.S.-based Albemarle Corp. is the largest, controlling 25% of production capacity.
Should Tianqi complete the deal as planned, the lithium-production industry would become more intertwined. Tianqi and Albemarle, for example, also operate a mine together in Australia in a joint venture.
Tianqi and Nutrien both said Thursday they expect the deal for the SQM stake to close in the fourth quarter this year.’

Some sort of deal with these big boys would equate to megabucks!....They would have definitely had representatives at the presentation in Chile last week....Hope martin took the opportunity to share a cup of coffee and a biscuit or two with them!

They KNOW where this is going.....they also know WHEN it's going. Won't be too long before the market wakes up and smells the coffee....which is premiere Arabica beans roasted to perfection and ground by hand.
