'The CMA has provisionally concluded that the age and degradation of the wells and other facilities at Rough (including likely future degradation) mean that Rough is no longer capable of safe injection operations without a substantial refurbishment which is not economically viable, and that this constitutes a change of circumstance which means the undertakings are no longer appropriate and the relevant parties can be released from the undertakings.'

I would hope that is the case O & W. I can't think of anything in the laws of mathematics that suggests otherwise.

We have lots of positive news coming very soon, that's certain.....we will steadily climb....then when
the spectacular off-take announcement comes and the funding confirmation..........................................we fly!

Don't we also know the life of project is 40yrs not 20!

Rough gas storage undertakings review Final decision

‘CSL considered that the only remedial measure which would mitigate all risks to an acceptable level was to drill new wells and rebuild the whole offshore facility. It told us this conclusion had been verified by the Centrica Group Wells Technical Authority. CSL had calculated the costs of rebuilding Rough to create a safe facility with broadly similar characteristics and had an independent expert (Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants Ltd) verify these costs. CSL told us it had determined that these works would cost in the order of £1 billion and would take around five years to complete.’

That, taken together that is not as flexible for fast supply as is Island Magee.........is enough to reassure me that Rough is no danger to our project........imo our project will materialise come whatever other developments also take place such as LNG at Shannon.

I hope this reassures you, it does me.

I have put 'strong buy' but if the option was there I would choose 'no brainer !'

Spud....although 10p sounds good for short term.....that is still RIDICULOUSLY cheap for this share.....This is a once in a generation share....this WILL NOT be staying in AIM........imho it will move on up into the main market in the not very distant future!
In a few years time, the dividends alone will be awesome!

It is a very exciting time for AXM holders.

As D1nger said this morning, we have to wait until the aquisition is COMPLETED ....it says as much in the June 16th DSR RNS before AXM actually take receipt of the 500,000 shares....which is, as D1nger points out, when AXM will presumably issue their own RNS.

'The procedure for the acceptance is well advanced'....but how long do these things take?....tomorrow?....next week?......longer? I would have thought only a day or two surely?....is that niaive?

'Just contacted CS and he says that the company are preparing to "ramp up" the story.

As for overhang, last week they were down to 20+m shares remaining to sell, but they are the remainder of warrant shares...now in the possession of a third party...that number will be about 15m now

So the news we have been given in recent weeks was not intended to promote the company, they told us the bare minimum...but very soon the big guns come out!

I don't know what the trigger will be for starting the PR campaign, removal of overhang or MT license, either or both, but the hold up has been overhang in the hands of unsupportive players.'

Forget all that rubbish!........I'll try again......I suppose we can hold them as long as we want before cashing them in when DSR are worth megabucks (their resources in the ground are massive!). So surely the 500,000 shares are worth many many times £44K in real terms.

Also...loads of other payments coming when it all really gets going!

Sorry, that last bit is a bit garbled.... to be a bit clearer, meant I wonder if we get the DSM shares now at 0.15 dollars or sometim down the line when they are worth more.

Shot up 30% today, DSMs shares are now at 0.15 Canadian dollars so 500,000 = $75,000 = approx £44,000 (approx equivalent of 37M AXM shares at todays price) better than a kick up the ass!

I wonder if that is at today's price or in a little whiles time because they are flying!

You both think the company is crap................If I thought the company was crap, I would go and invest elsewhere.......just don't get it.

Of course you are both entitled to your opinions..... but IF your opinions are such that you think the company is crap (which you keep reiterating to the point of nausea) and that it won't get anywhere, then you both need locking up in an asylum, if you re leaving your money in here!....You can't have it both ways. If you truly believe they are crap, then get the hell out!

If you bought at an expensive price and say you are waiting to recoup your losses, but at the same time you believe it is going down the pan....then be a man about it , admit your mistake, sell up and move on!......or leave it in here hoping for the best and go away for a year and leave it to take it' course, but stop hanging around like a bad smell.

All you are doing is deramping it and forcing the price down ever further, so what's your game?....If you have money in it, you would surely, like any other genuine shareholder, want it to rise....never going to happen if you and your band keep posting so negatively....are you that niaive that you think your extremely negative posts (long history....I strongly recommend people look up your posting history) are not going to go some way towards dissuading people from buying or push existing holders into selling?

I don't pretend to be an expert...indeed, I would say i am a complete novice....but I genuinely believe in this share.....hence, I am a shareholder and am waiting for what I believe will be good news.....If I believed there wouldn't be any, I simply wouldn't be here.

Part of the tenacity of believing shareholders has to be to totally ignore posters with obvious devious motives.
