I've been looking at the Greenland gov website and in the current hearings section, it gives some info on Greenland Minerals. SIA & EIA consultation deadline coming up soon, 1st June. Will be interesting to see if it's shut down completely or the door is left ajar.

Reassuring that our IBA & Exploitation license is signed as per the RNS 14th Dec.

The number of oz's seems right for our current mcap. Nothing factored in for the impending sale of old assets though, or a much stronger pog. If we can find and prove up a further 15,000 oz which seems reasonable we will increase significantly.

Agree, CB has to be buying shares. What are expectations when these new shares hit the register at the end of this month, can someone please give an experienced view on this?

I have to say he has definitely not covered himself in glory. His reasonings around the capital raise is shocking, from his last interview saying fully funded they've also had the discussion with the broker at the same time to raise more cash. Really disappointed in him. Not selling but CB is now down in the book of untrustworthy individuals, even if it was the 'board' who made the decision. The board now have to give him the opportunity to redeem himself to pi's because that was shocking. His whole performance.

All Greenland miners that I can see are down near 50% in the last 3 months so guess nothing personal. All waiting for the new government to be finalised, and to speak. The winning/largest party has 12 seats out of 31. Not much has changed.

Are we not forgetting about all these new shares that are currently being printed?? This is the reason for the drop imo, not mediocre results from the first 2 months of a 24 month drilling programme.

Said it before and I'll say it again, CB is a Salesperson like most CEO's. His integrity might be dropping in the eyes of PI's but does he really care? I'd hazard the guess it would be a no.

Results are less than positive, more shares being created, of course this is going to drop. So much detail in there as someone has pointed out because they're trying to cover over pretty mediocre results. Still a long way to go.

They have to soon you would think, or an RNS confirming forward movement and putting fears to rest. It would be nice if they could do that before this weekend.

Ok, you are right if you were interpreting that as meaning finance, offtakes ect, and not within the conversation thread it was part of.

We have been offered finance and we have appointed someone to with experience in developing large capital projects in the region and the demand and price are both rising for the product. These are facts of what has progressed since the 5th Jan.

I think it's also safe to assume that the offer of finance is now the updated costing of the project, not $245m. Otherwise, why come up with and publish that figure?

How so? And what is it you think I am meaning? If we are keeping within this thread and talking about the Greenlandic government and being issued the right to now mine the resource, then I believe we do. Am I mistaken on this?

I can't understand why you'd do that? It's taken 5 years, everything now in place. Nothing has or will change the plans to open this mine. People are acting like Greenland has suddenly about turned when they clearly have not.

The facts are Greenland needs mining income and jobs for their existence to sustain where they are. They desperately need investment in their roads and airports as currently, things are sinking quite fast due to the permafrost warming up. So they either go back to canoes, or they need several hundred million each year to maintain what they have just now.

Just because they are pro-mining does not mean they need to allow every opportunity to go ahead. I think most people would not want a uranium mine operating next door to them so why would they expect the people of Greenland to accept this too.

Things will pick up soon. This is not a vote against mining in general, it was about a very harsh process to mine uranium and in an area where people live and make their livelihoods. Greenland is massive and with only 56,000 people so I can understand why they'd not want this to go ahead. Take things from elsewhere first. Also, see this as a snub to the Chinese, not America personally.

Dundas is fully licensed, if they reneged now they would get sued most likely.

The volume is so low and the price difference between buy and sell is minimal it's sometimes hard to see what is what. Summer months are best for JAY, no point in holding through the winter period and selling now. In the coming weeks there has to be a proper update on finance and an indication of pricing achieved. Prices are still rising along with demand for the product.

I would think that this election has little bearing on Dundas going ahead given the mining of the project is considered environmentally balanced, or as can be. The mine that is proving controversial is surrounded by some of the only available farming lands in Greenland. It may have a slowing impact on our other exploration projects but can't see the government doing a complete u-turn on mining.

I'm hoping we've got some serious money flowing into JAY behind the scenes from Kenmare. We share some big ii holders in both companies. Also, it's interesting that their trading has quite a lot of automatic trades going on too, similar to here.

Yes, a little disappointing but things are definitely progressing behind the scenes but so much for my 30p in March :(

Exploration drilling soon to start though and surely a signoff on the finance partner along with a further offtake partner and some light on the pricing will be coming soon. Kenmare is looking around ASIC of $125-136, feels we could be substantially lower at Dundas.

Sad but no surprise. No sales in the last 6 months, or 6 months before that really. This company is not concerned about pi's or selling product it seems. V1 of their product is obviously crap, V2 I'm sure the same. ****stan, Thailand and Columbia, says it all really.
