Sulphide mineralisation is usually associated with gold at Plateau, so visible sulphides are encouraging for our anticipated gold assays. The gold at Plateau is microscopic and therefore not visible to the naked eye. Visible sulphides, even as low as
1-2% is encouraging, so levels of sulphide up to 30% is promising. Sulphides up to 90% have been recorded in the water bore and Rockfire intends to sample the water bore for gold mineralisation
· 235m of continuous sulphide mineralisation has been observed in drill hole BPL037, with sulphides averaging 5% and individual intervals up to 30% sulphide. BPL037 finished at 257m deep.
· 201m of continuous sulphide mineralisation has been observed in drill hole BPL036, with sulphides averaging 5% and individual intervals up to 30% sulphide. BPL036 was drilled to 239m deep.

A 215m deep hole (BPL025) successfully encountered an extensive sulphide zone within a large-scale chargeable IP anomaly,
· The broad sulphide zone in BPL025 occurs between 74m and 215m downhole (141m length),
· The 141m interval averages 5-10% sulphides (max 25%),
· BPL025 ended in sulphide mineralisation,
·
All drill holes encountered either fresh or weathered sulphides
See RNS dated 26th Nov and what followed from extensive Sulphides.
Rockfire Resources plc (LON: ROCK), the gold and base-metal focused explorer, is pleased to announce that drilling to test a geophysical target has returned broad, consistent gold assays, indicative of a large-scale gold deposit. Gold mineralisation occurring almost continuously throughout a 215 m deep drill hole.
· Hole BPL025 intersected 177 m @ 0.5 g/t Au, including:
· 26 m @ 1.0 g/t Au (from 22 m)
· 42 m @ 1.0 g/t Au (from 95 m)
· 7 m @ 1.0 g/t Au (from 195 m)
· The above intersection also includes zones of 1 m @ 7.5 g/t Au, 2 m @ 5.6 g/t Au and 3 m @ 6.6 g/t Au, demonstrating that high grades occur throughout this large system;
· BPL025 finished within a gold-mineralised rhyolite, which is considered by our geologists to be similar to the Mt Wright Gold Mine, (part of the Ravenswood operations hosting +10.0 M oz gold)
· Rockfire believes that BPL025 has intersected the upper levels of a large mineralised system. Resolute Mining Limited intersected the main gold lode at Mt Wright in excess of 150 m from surface. Rockfire's technical team is anticipating gold grades to increase with depth at Plateau, as they do at Mt Wright;
· BPL025 successfully tested an IP chargeable & resistivity geophysical anomaly and proved that the target demonstrates potential for a large-scale gold system a
