This bit intrigues me - both ODX and DHSC assumed an extension, but then when DHSC asked, they wouldn't confirm? To then state expired seems a bit of a jump?

Interesting response from Walbrook about the DHSC contract.

Hope Colin clarifies this situation tonight.

The original manufacturing contract
always had a longstop date of 1 April 21,
which signified the end of Phase 1. This
Long Stop Date had been extended
previously and Omega were in ongoing
discussions with the DHSC that both
parties assumed would confirm a further
extension. Omega sought to get clarity
ahead of the Interim Results statement,
but the DHSC was not in a position to
confirm their position on the further
extension. The Company's legal advice
has since confirmed that without any
confirmation of a further extension they
should consider the contract to have
lapsed.

But didn’t we recieve more govt equipment in August or September and the RNS at the start of November about DAM relationship mentions it does not impact the DHSC contract?

I would say no-one is expecting the interim's to be in any way positive at all.

I think UKRTC / ABC-19 is a tarnished brand with all the GLP / Lord Bethell noise around it.

Lots of other antibody test providers, including Surescreen who I would imagine would be chosen ahead of ABC-19?

Next week was stated by Luke Salters - a business development associate at DAM - couple of people messaged him after he posted on LinkedIN:

"Exciting new partnership with Omega Diagnostics. DAM Health can now offer the most accurate Antigen testing equipment on the current market with 96.4% in sensitivity. We are now offering the GOLD standard for all Antigen test kits."

In a couple of messages with enquiring Omega holders, he confirmed that next week they would start to use the Visitect test that would be approved then.

We wait and see.........

The other thing I am excited about is that we may finally find out our capacity - we know it should be 2m per week, but surely the work Toyota did has increased that further - looks like we will find out soon (assuming Col decides to tell us!!)

Funny few days - ABDX 40% up yesterday, 20% down today
AVCT up yesterday and suddenly jumping up today about 20%
NCYT was at one point up 9% but now down about the same

Rises all on the back of no news..............almost like 2020 again!!

ODX staying pretty static throughout though - hopefully our time will come!

AVCT have said nothing either, though sentiment is better than here.

Only link I can see is that the govt perhaps is going to cough up as they owe both NCYT and ABDX (and us a small chunk from that ABDX money)

Interesting to see if that means the contracts will also get supported - that would be very nice for us with regard to the ABC-19 test........

I think he played it down the govt contracts as at that time he knew the contract was for the Mologic test, but the test had failed Porton Down and thus, any manufacturing would occur later than anticipated.

As I said, to get an EGM you need to have 10% of the holders request it (and then the board approve it).

As most shares are in private hands, and 183m in total, you need to pull together enough holders to have 18.3m shares - can't see that being possible tbh............

They are opening up booster jabs to 40+ and potentially giving 16 & 17 year olds the 2nd dose (I didn't realise until yesterday that 16 & 17 years olds currently can only get 1 jab which when travelling, means most countries dom't see that as vaccinated so you still have to test / quarantine!
