IP, the bad debt provision is 7.4%, which is very prudent. I would expect bad debts to be minimal this year. They will probably increase next year, but if actual bad debts reach 7.4%, then the country is in real trouble !

There have been a few £10k sales in black in recent days for round sum amounts. I'm wondering if these are not really sales, but shares being sold & then bought by someone specifically. I may be talking rubbish, but just a thought

I fail to really see any issues here. Sales are way up on 2019 when the share price was nearly £5, and there is a strong cash position.

SNN, I've been thinking about your bad debts at 5.5%, and I believe that you are spot on. YU have been really clever putting in a 7.5% provision already. Could mean they reach £20k net profit far quicker than anticipated.

I have been wanting to buy more shares in YU, but my other shares are doing so badly, I refused to sell them at a large loss. Just re-visited my plan, and cannot buy any YU currently. Might hit 250p today if we are lucky.

I do find it strange that there was no movement in the share price when the superb results came out. Now, when there is more market turmoil, and no news on the horizon, we are flying. Markets will always be a mystery.

BodRuncie, I am of the opinion that there will definitely be a dividend next year based on this year's results. They have already stated that cash is well ahead of forecasts. A 5p dividend would cost less than £1m.

According to their broker note, they forecast cash of £36m in 2025 on sales of £408m. The market cap is only £34m currently, plus the sales forecasts could be under estimated based on the YU presentation.

If 7.4% of companies cannot pay their bills, then the country is in serious trouble. Bad debts will be minimal this year. Also need to remember that the bad debt provision is a one off hit to profits this year. In future years, it will only be on additional turnover.

We could not have asked for anything more. Bad debt provision of 7.4% also seems very prudent. Stock markets are really struggling, so we may have to be patient, but fair value for this share is way over double yesterdays closing price.

Sparky, YU have already announced that cash is ahead of expectations. So, I really think there is a chance that they will mention that they will pay a dividend next year based on the current year results. If my maths are correct, a 5p dividend will cost less than £1m.

Share price often falls on results days, but if dividends mentioned, it might encourage more investors to hold for the long term. Next couple of days could see share price increase significantly, but who knows in these times.

Would love to see dividends mentioned with the results. Lets see what happens. Getting excited !

I really don't know why the share price is not rocketing. What are YU going to do with all their cash ? Dividends please !
