In May, our Applications Engineering Services Director, Jon Harman, represented Ceres at the World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition in Rotterdam, where global leaders, innovators, and policymakers gathered to explore the technology enabling hydrogen’s pivotal role in the energy transition.

As part of the event, our strategic partner Doosan showcased fuel cell technology in the Korea Pavilion. It was fantastic to see the technology and our collaboration with Doosan highlighted on such a global stage, demonstrating the potential of hydrogen to transform industries and energy systems.

Jon also joined the UK-Netherlands roundtable to explore deeper collaboration and opportunities between the two countries. The conversation highlighted a growing focus on energy security and resilience, alongside decarbonisation. The mood was positive, with a realistic view of the nuances and opportunities in this fast-growing industry.

I believe things are beginning to look a lot more positive.

Shell - SOEC now producing Hydrogen in Bangalore

Thermax - news plant in Pune dedicated to SOEC testing over next 11 months.

Denso - plans to start SOEC testing in 2025 with Power Plant owner Jera.

Doosan - starts mass production with SOFC H2 2025, including shipping vessel launch (due soon) with Shell and Hyundai to prove maritime performance and carbon reductions (including first royalties this year)

Delta Electronics- planning SOFC launch in 2026 for mass production with focus on Data Center (see their latest video) also developing SOEC.

Wenchai - I know they were demonstrating SOFC in China but not much news.

A new partner or 2 would really change things up and considering we had 2 last year and it's the company’s main focus this year we should be hopeful of signing some new partners (imo)

Thermax recently inaugurated its Solid Oxide Electrolyser Cell (SOEC) pilot facility in Pune — a key milestone in our green hydrogen journey. In collaboration with our technology partner, CERES, the facility will develop India’s first pressurised SOEC system over the next 11 months. This marks a significant step towards advancing next-generation green hydrogen technology through a modular, high-efficiency solution designed to achieve the lowest Levelised Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) for our customers. The inauguration was attended by the entire Green Hydrogen team at Thermax, who are driving this important initiative forward.

The whole sector is in demand, this is just the start.

Heavy buying started, possibly triggered by ITM's non stop rise.

These are dirt cheap, needs news to have sustained rise, which is due on a number of fronts!

Unlikely as we need to preserve cash, although it would show huge confidence in royalty streams due, but I would rather Delta Electronics or other took a share personally

We have still got the short closures to look forward too (which they're surely will soon), which will pop out price nicely.

This is a very good time to be holding Ceres imo, near all time lows, 3-4 years cash (even without any further partner deals), royalties due as Doosan roll out starts in earnest H2 and Delta are starting to integrate Ceres tech into AI solutions, and a respected new partner would double this up....who in their right mind would want to be short?!

Busicat- I guess lots still out of pocket but there's a lot to look forward to this and next year, especiallyas royalties start to be received towards EOY. Priced at £30m over their cash holdings still looks extremely blinkered to me.

Delta Electronics are huge company and would not have invested heavily in Ceres and net zero lab if they were not confident in future demand. Add to this Doosan royalties start before EOY and full production line in parallel.

In the meantime Ceres are at virtually rock bottom in terms of price this looks a raging BUY (to me)
