Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Probably very likely now but this is bargain basement territory, I'm very tempted to purchase
Value - these are not results, this is just a trading update and you sir talk nonsense!
This is strong update in tough times, whatever way you try to spin it
Just purchased a tidy amount, I think these are tremendous medium term value at this level and don't expect it to stay down for long.
Short term price drivers, good trading update (eom), more deals especially on non-grocery tech (they indicate several interested parties), good inflation news and positive market conditions
Value - losses came in below market expectations as they invest heavily in CFC's with international partners, which is the future source of growth.
Ocado have said they have now passed the peak of spending and trajectory is now downwards as more CFC's are in operation.
M&S dispute needs to be settled as it looks bad on both parties but not likely until summer I think
Who said its stalling exactly?
Kruger want to fine tune the 8 CFC's they already have before moving to next build phase, what they said very specifically.
No way Kruger plan to stop using they are fully committed and would never have entered agreement otherwise
Totally disagree, I saw nothing about the deal falling apart just FTC objections which was expected and i dont see a failed merger as a positive for Ocado.
Experts still anticipate it will be waved through with possible further concessions, all of which leaves Ocado with a much bigger partner needing additional CFC's
Yes as long as Ocado continue to roll out CFC's, especially for Kroger and as long as they manage finances and do not dilute shares with another fund raising.
Near term I'm hoping for more contracts in non grocery (as seems we in talks with several interested parties) and the Kroger-Albertsons merger would be big lift if it happens, which although still facing hurdles, is expected to happen by experts.
Very odd how many online articles miss one of the big takeaways from results, the new Middle East partner of OSP Panda, extending Ocado global partnerships
Another promising snippet "Ocado Intelligent Automation started marketing the ASRS proposition at international trade shows in early 2024; ongoing discussions with several possible partners are encouraging for FY24
Says on the ocado website "And, today, we have announced the signing of our 13th partner to the ‘OSP club’.
Is the accompanying announcement due?
This will be marked up higher today following the inflation news, especially food inflation.
"But inflation stayed at 4% thanks to the first fall in food prices in more than two years, the ONS added"
Technology moving into Heathcare now, this is quite a significant step forward for Solutions side, now not just confined to grocery.
No deal details will hold back any massive rise but we have momentum again and future looking decidedly rosy
I'm expecting a solid bounce but will all depend on market momentum, can see it'll be opening UP so that's at least is a good sign.
Dogger - sounds like you wish they were, the money pouring in seems to tell a different story
They look so weak now, every day Ukraine is hitting something big in terms of hardware, missiles, ships and subs, also counter offensive will sooner or later make huge breakthrough, add to this Lavrov talking about solutions to the war, its all pointing to Russia want this over...imol
Thanks Alex very inciteful and very positive for Ukraine from someone who knows what he's talking about
Great news emerging that USA are going to ship ATACMS and if Germans follow with Taurus then Ukraine will soon make Crimea untenable for Russian forces, especially Black Sea Fleet. Sevastopol, Saky, Dzankoy all easily within range
I will be buying before days out, signs looking potentially very encouraging, USA continues to supply, F16's before year is out and Russia desperate trying to play Black Sea agreement against sanctions, which are clearly hitting hard...I am certain the tide is on the turn and once it does this share is one way traffic
Yes I'll admit, I'm slightly surprised that share price has not reacted positively, the news imo is a negative for Putin and still time for escalations internally over coming days and weeks re Wagner and high ranking Kremlin officials
