This chatroom has lost all credibility since the trolls have entered. Most posts are not even company related, just individuals spouting nonsense. But then guess it happens to most popular companies when the s.p is at a ALT.

Why would anyone want to purchase the American business at some crazy figures being floated around of £1.2bn which IMO is never going to happen when they can buy the whole lot and let's be realistic the money maker is ALSA. Obviously the Cosmens won't allow that but if I was a bidder I'd be persuading them and get the whole company on the cheap.

If we all got a £ i think most of us would be content as most would break even here. I just can't see anyone bidding more than 500m for the American disposal which will only reduce our debt by a third. What's everyone's thoughts ?

Very disappointing to get a second profit warning. If it keeps dropping which a very good chance it will, has to be suspectible to a takeover bid. Reckon 70p will be the bottom with a 3rd profit warning which is inevitable with how cautious management are behaving.

Smokeyjohnson108 are you invested or just looking for a cheaper entry ? Trolls don't get very far on this board that's why they disappear fast!

Heavy drop today when it bounced strongly past couple of days. Can't make sense of it. What's everyone's thoughts where this is heading before Tuesday ?

Johnjo your commenting here everyday constantly, you will be very disappointed when this shoots over 1.20 fast. Share price is based more on sentiment and future forecasts. I haven't opened a position yet but if it drops to 80s then I will buy just think its too much of a risk to buy before a TU but I don't keep talking the price down. Have respect for all the investors that have ploughed their hard earnt money into this company.

Nice to see positive comments and optimism on this board instead of the constant moaning when there is a drop in the s.p. Definitely being manipulated by the shorts, they did this to Go-Ahead a couple of years ago and look how that ended up (sold off near their peak)

I haven't bought in yet but can't see this dropping to low 80s even with a bad trading update. Any slight good news and we won't see these prices again. Will be 1.20plus.

CEO has to go. We need a change in strategy imminently. Shorts always back off when they see a change in management. 4 premier league managers have been given the boot in the past few weeks , 2 over the weekend. Why is our CEO any different? If you can't perform you should be out the door. SIMPLE AS THAT !!!

Will it hold a pound ? Don't seem to be shorted heavily which is positive

There's a lot of us in this chat group that have been holding this share for several years so unless your break even or in profit which is probably the minority going by everyone's comments it is best to hold until the disposal of NA business. Could easy jump 30-40% if a satisfactory figure is achieved. Until then we need to stick together and bare the short term pain. Also like to add shorting the stock you: 75% of the time you will lose your money if your a retail investor unless your an investment fund!

No news macro or internally so definitely something mysterious brewing! A sp fortune can change fast just take a look at Iag, RR, Carnival, Currys to name a few. If the shorts do know about the price of the sale then we will be back in the 70s that's inevitable maybe even 60s but I still strongly believe we can get over a £ in the next 12 months.

People need to relax as shorts may read this chat and people moaning and throwing their toys out the pram will just encourage them to short more!

Guess we will find out tommorow if there is a bounce back to 90p if we get added to the 250. One thing for sure this share never fails to disappoint.

Market down and were up is always a good sign. Managed to break through 82p as was some resistance so next stop 90p. Hopefully we break into the ftse 250 soon and keep climbing then next year we might get some news on the sale to go over a pound. Onwards and upwards :)
